3. Setup

3.1 Battery Installation

Batteries are not included and are required for both the D-O droid and the remote controller.

  • D-O Droid: Requires 4 x AA batteries. Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the droid, open it with a small screwdriver (not included), insert the batteries according to the polarity markings, and close the compartment securely.
  • Remote Controller: Requires 2 x AAA batteries. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the remote, open it with a small screwdriver (not included), insert the batteries according to the polarity markings, and close the compartment securely.

Warning: Do not mix old and new batteries. Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium) batteries.

3.2 Assembly

The D-O droid comes pre-assembled. No additional assembly is required beyond battery installation.
