Setup

Battery Installation:

The FurReal Plum requires 4 x 1.5V "C" alkaline batteries (not included). To install batteries:

1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the panda.
2. Using a Phillips head screwdriver (not included), unscrew the battery compartment cover.
3. Insert 4 "C" alkaline batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
4. Replace the cover and tighten the screw securely.

Initial Activation:

After battery installation, locate the ON/OFF switch, usually near the battery compartment. Switch the panda to the "ON" position to activate its interactive features.

Operating Instructions

Daytime Play:

• Hugging and Holding: Plum is designed to hug back when picked up and held, providing a comforting interaction.
• Feeding: Use the included bamboo bottle accessory. When the bottle is placed near Plum's mouth, she will make happy eating sounds.
• Talking: Plum will babble back when spoken to, engaging in a conversational play.
• Peek-a-boo: Plum can play peek-a-boo, moving her arms to cover and uncover her eyes.
• Dancing: Occasionally, Plum may initiate a dance, adding a playful element to interactions.
• General Interaction: Petting Plum's head, nose, or belly may trigger various sounds and movements, including expressive facial changes with her eyes, nose, and mouth.

Nighttime Mode:

To transition Plum into nighttime mode, activate the specific setting (refer to the product's quick start guide for exact switch location if not clearly marked). In this mode, Plum will:

• Close her eyes.
• Make sleepy sounds.
• Play one of four 5-minute sequences of soft, soothing music.
