3. Setup Instructions

1. Insert the Transmitter: Plug the Clydek BC40 FM Transmitter into your car's 12V/24V cigarette lighter socket. The LED display will light up, indicating it is powered on.
2. Tune Your Car Radio: Tune your car's FM radio to an empty frequency (one with no static or broadcast). A suitable frequency range is typically 76.0-108.0 MHz.
3. Match Transmitter Frequency: Adjust the FM frequency on the Clydek BC40 to match the empty frequency on your car radio.
   • Long press the "Previous Track" button to decrease the frequency.
   • Long press the "Next Track" button to increase the frequency.

   Ensure both the car radio and the transmitter are set to the exact same frequency for optimal audio quality.

4. Pair with Bluetooth:
   • On your mobile device, enable Bluetooth.
   • Search for available Bluetooth devices and select "BC40" (or similar name) from the list.
   • Once paired, you will hear a confirmation tone, and the device will be ready for audio streaming.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Music Playback

The BC40 supports three methods for music playback:

• Bluetooth Streaming: After successful Bluetooth pairing, play music directly from your mobile device.
• USB Disk Playback: Insert a USB flash drive (up to 32GB) containing MP3/WMA/WAV/FLAC/APE audio files into the USB1 port. The device will automatically detect and play music.
• TF Card Playback: Insert a TF (Micro SD) card (up to 32GB) containing MP3/WMA/WAV/FLAC/APE audio files into the TF card slot. The device will automatically detect and play music.

To switch between playback sources (Bluetooth, USB disk, TF card), long press the Multi-function button.

• Short press "Previous Track" / "Next Track": To skip to the previous or next song.
• Short press "Multi-function Button": To play or pause music.

4.2 Hands-Free Calling

When your phone is connected via Bluetooth, you can manage calls directly through the transmitter:

• Answer a Call: Short press the Multi-function button.
• Hang Up a Call: Short press the Multi-function button during a call.
• Reject a Call: Long press the Multi-function button when an incoming call rings.
• Redial Last Number: Double click the Multi-function button.

The built-in microphone with CVC noise cancellation ensures clear communication.

4.3 Device Charging

The BC40 features two USB ports for charging your devices:

• QC3.0 Port (USB2): Provides rapid charging for compatible devices, charging up to 80% in approximately 35 minutes.
