The ClearView LCD Protective Film offers five key functions to enhance your viewing experience and protect your display:
- Shock Absorption: This film features a 3-layer hard-coat structure, approximately 0.3mm thick, designed to absorb and mitigate impacts, protecting your display from damage.
- Blue Light Cut: Engineered to be gentle on the eyes, this film cuts an average of over 32% of blue light (wavelengths 380-500nm) emitted from LED backlit LCD displays. It maintains a milky white tint without yellowing, ensuring a clear view with 90% transmittance.
- Anti-Reflection (Anti-Glare): The anti-glare effect significantly reduces reflections from external light sources such as sunlight and fluorescent lamps, improving visibility.
- Antibacterial: An antibacterial treatment helps keep your screen clean and hygienic by inhibiting bacterial growth.
- Bubble-less Application: Utilizing a special silicone adhesive, this film allows air to escape naturally during application, making it easy to achieve a bubble-free finish on your LCD screen. The adhesive strength remains stable with temperature changes.

Setup (Installation)
- Prepare the Display: Ensure the Alpine PKG-M900SC display surface is thoroughly cleaned. Use a microfiber cloth to remove all dust, smudges, and fingerprints. Any remaining particles can cause bubbles or imperfections.
- Align the Film: Carefully peel back a small portion of the protective layer from the adhesive side of the film. Align the exposed adhesive edge with one side of your display.
- Apply Gradually: Slowly peel off the rest of the protective layer while simultaneously applying the film to the display. Use a squeegee or a soft card wrapped in a cloth to gently push out any air bubbles as you go.
- Remove Remaining Bubbles: For any small bubbles that remain, gently push them towards the edges of the film. The special silicone adhesive allows for natural air escape, making bubble removal easier.
- Re-application: If the initial application is not satisfactory, the special silicone adhesive allows for careful re-application. Gently lift the film from one corner and re-align.
Avoid touching the adhesive side of the film with your fingers to prevent dust or oil transfer.
Operating
Once installed, the protective film operates passively, providing continuous protection and enhanced viewing. No specific operational steps are required for the film itself. Ensure the display is used within its normal operating temperature range to maintain the film's adhesive integrity.
Maintenance
To maintain the clarity and effectiveness of your ClearView LCD Protective Film:
- Cleaning: Gently wipe the film surface with a clean, soft, lint-free cloth. For stubborn smudges, slightly dampen the cloth with water or a screen-safe cleaning solution. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive materials, or excessive pressure.
- Avoid Sharp Objects: While the film offers shock absorption, avoid direct contact with sharp objects that could scratch or puncture the film.
- Temperature: The film's adhesive is designed to be stable across temperature changes, but extreme heat or cold may affect its longevity.
Troubleshooting
Common Issues and Solutions:
- Bubbles After Installation:
Small bubbles often disappear naturally within 24-48 hours due to the film's bubble-less adhesive properties. For larger bubbles, gently lift the nearest edge of the film and re-apply, pushing the air out with a squeegee. Ensure the screen is free of dust.
- Dust Under the Film:
If dust particles are trapped under the film, carefully lift the nearest corner of the film. Use a dust-removal sticker or a piece of tape to gently lift the dust particle from the adhesive side, then re-apply the film.
- Film Not Sticking Properly:
Ensure the screen surface is completely clean and dry before application. If the film has been lifted multiple times, its adhesive properties may be reduced. Refer to the 'Warranty and Support' section for replacement options if installation failure occurs.
