Setup

1. Connecting Power

  1. Locate the DC IN port on the rear of the DB332 radio.
  2. Connect the provided power adaptor to the DC IN port.
  3. Plug the power adaptor into a standard wall outlet.
  4. Extend the telescopic antenna fully for optimal reception.

2. Initial Power On and Scan

  1. Press the Power button (Power button icon) on the front panel to turn on the radio.
  2. Upon first use, the radio will automatically initiate a scan for available DAB/DAB+ stations. This process may take a few minutes.
  3. Once the scan is complete, the radio will display the first available station.

  • Power Button: Turns the radio on or off.
  • MODE Button: Switches between DAB/DAB+ and FM radio modes, and AUX-IN.
  • INFO Button: Displays additional information about the current station or track.
  • MENU Button: Accesses the system menu for settings and options.
  • PRESET Buttons (1-4): Quick access to your four most favorite preset stations.
  • TUNE/SELECT Knob: Rotates to tune frequencies or navigate menus, press to select.
  • VOLUME+/- Knob: Adjusts the audio output volume.

1. DAB/DAB+ Radio Operation

  1. Ensure the radio is in DAB mode (press MODE if necessary).
  2. Rotate the TUNE/SELECT knob to browse available stations.
  3. Press the TUNE/SELECT knob to select a station.
  4. Adjust volume using the VOLUME+/- knob.

2. FM Radio Operation

  1. Press the MODE button until "FM" is displayed.
  2. Rotate the TUNE/SELECT knob to manually tune to an FM frequency.
  3. To auto-scan for FM stations, press and hold the TUNE/SELECT knob. The radio will scan and stop at the next strong signal.
  4. Adjust volume using the VOLUME+/- knob.

3. Presetting Stations

The DB332 allows up to 20 presets for DAB and 20 for FM, plus 4 dedicated quick-access buttons.

  1. Tune to the desired station (DAB or FM).
  2. Press and hold the PRESET button (1, 2, 3, or 4) you wish to assign the station to until "Preset Saved" appears on the display.
  3. To recall a preset, simply press the corresponding PRESET button (1, 2, 3, or 4).
  4. For other presets (5-20), press the MENU button, navigate to "Preset Recall", rotate TUNE/SELECT to choose the preset number, and press to confirm.

4. Using AUX-IN

  1. Connect an external audio device (e.g., MP3 player, smartphone) to the AUX-IN jack on the rear of the radio using a 3.5mm audio cable (not included).
  2. Press the MODE button until "AUX-IN" is displayed.
  3. Control playback from your external device. The radio's VOLUME+/- knob will control the output volume.

5. Using Audio Out and Earphone Jack

  • Audio Out: Connect the AUDIO OUT jack to an external powered speaker system or amplifier using a 3.5mm audio cable (not included) to enjoy enhanced sound.
  • Earphone Jack: Plug 3.5mm earphones into the Earphone Jack for private listening. The internal speaker will automatically mute when earphones are connected.

6. Sleep Timer

The sleep timer allows the radio to turn off automatically after a set period.

  1. Press the MENU button.
  2. Rotate the TUNE/SELECT knob to navigate to "Sleep Timer" and press to select.
  3. Choose the desired sleep duration (e.g., 15, 30, 45, 60, 90, 120 minutes) and press TUNE/SELECT to confirm.

7. Language Settings

The radio supports English, French, German, and Italian languages.

  1. Press the MENU button.
  2. Rotate the TUNE/SELECT knob to navigate to "System Settings" and press to select.
  3. Navigate to "Language" and press to select.
  4. Choose your preferred language and press TUNE/SELECT to confirm.

Maintenance

Cleaning

  • Always disconnect the power adaptor before cleaning.
  • Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the exterior of the radio.
  • Do not use abrasive cleaners, waxes, or solvents as they may damage the finish.
  • Avoid getting moisture into any openings.

Storage

  • Store the radio in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Ensure the antenna is retracted when not in use or during storage to prevent damage.

Troubleshooting
