Important: This is not a DIY system. Professional installation is required to ensure proper function, safety, and warranty validity. Improper installation can lead to electric shock, fire, or serious injury.

  • Always disconnect power before performing any maintenance or service.
  • Ensure the unit is properly grounded.
  • Do not block air inlets or outlets of the indoor or outdoor units.
  • Keep children and pets away from the outdoor unit during operation.
  • The system operates on 208-230V. Ensure your electrical supply meets these requirements.

4. Setup

Installation of this multi-zone system requires specialized knowledge and tools. It is crucial to have a certified HVAC professional perform the installation to ensure optimal performance and adherence to all local codes and regulations.

The installation process typically involves:

  1. Mounting the indoor ceiling cassette units in their designated locations.
  2. Positioning the outdoor condenser unit on a stable, level surface.
  3. Connecting the pre-flared and insulated copper line sets between the indoor and outdoor units.
  4. Running communication wires for system control.
  5. Installing the drainage system, ensuring proper slope for condensate removal. The included drainage extension is designed to prevent kinks.
  6. Connecting the wall thermostat for each indoor unit.
  7. Evacuating the refrigerant lines and charging the system with the appropriate refrigerant (R454B).

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Basic Operation (Cooling & Heating)

The system provides both cooling and heating functions. The cooling range is typically 62°F to 90°F, and the heating range is 32°F to 86°F. The inverter technology allows for precise temperature control and energy efficiency.

  • Insufficient Cooling/Heating: Verify that air filters are clean, doors and windows are closed, and the thermostat setting is appropriate for the desired temperature.
  • Thermostat Accuracy: Note that the displayed temperature on the thermostat may not always perfectly match the exact room temperature. Adjust settings based on comfort rather than precise numerical values.
  • Unusual Noises: Minor creaking sounds can occur during heating mode due to thermal expansion. If loud or persistent noises occur, contact support.
  • Water Leakage: Check the drainage line for kinks or blockages. Ensure the indoor unit is level.
