1. Introduction

2. Important Safety Instructions

  • Read all instructions before using the appliance.
  • Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or after the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner.
  • Do not immerse cord, plug, or any part of the appliance in water or other liquids.
  • Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
  • Do not use outdoors. This appliance is for indoor household use only.
  • Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
  • Ensure the appliance is placed on a stable, level surface to prevent tipping.
  • Use only potable water in the ice maker.
  • Unplug the appliance from the outlet when not in use and before cleaning.
  • Do not block the ventilation openings. Ensure adequate air circulation around the unit.

  • ADD WATER Indicator: Illuminates when the water reservoir needs refilling.
  • ICE FULL Indicator: Illuminates when the ice basket is full.

5. Setup

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the ice maker from its packaging. Remove all packing materials, tape, and any protective film.
  2. Placement: Place the ice maker on a flat, stable surface away from direct sunlight and heat sources (e.g., stoves, furnaces, radiators). Ensure there is at least 6 inches (15 cm) of space around the unit for proper ventilation.
  3. Initial Cleaning: Before first use, clean the interior of the ice maker. Refer to the "Maintenance and Cleaning" section for detailed instructions.
  4. Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet (115V/60Hz).

6. Operating Instructions

  1. Add Water: Open the lid and remove the ice basket. Fill the water reservoir with potable water up to the MAX fill line. Do not overfill.
  2. Replace Ice Basket: Place the ice basket back into its position and close the lid.
  3. Power On: Press the ON/OFF button to turn on the ice maker. The POWER indicator will illuminate.
  4. Select Ice Size: Press the SELECT button to choose your desired ice cube size: Small (S) or Large (L). The corresponding indicator will light up.
  5. Ice Production: The ice maker will begin the ice-making cycle. The first batch of ice will be ready in approximately 6-13 minutes, depending on the selected size and ambient temperature.
  6. Ice Full Indicator: When the ice basket is full, the ICE FULL indicator will illuminate, and the ice maker will automatically stop production. Remove ice from the basket to resume production.
  7. Add Water Indicator: If the water level in the reservoir is too low, the ADD WATER indicator will illuminate, and the ice maker will stop production. Add more water to the reservoir to resume.
  8. Collecting Ice: Use the provided ice scoop to remove ice from the basket.
  9. Automatic Recycling: Any unused ice that melts in the basket will drain back into the water reservoir and be recycled into fresh ice during subsequent cycles, minimizing waste.
  10. Power Off: To turn off the ice maker, press the ON/OFF button again.

7. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your ice maker.

  1. Daily Cleaning:
    • Unplug the ice maker before cleaning.
    • Remove the ice basket.
    • Drain any remaining water from the reservoir by removing the drain plug at the bottom of the unit.
    • Wipe the interior with a soft cloth dampened with warm water and a mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly.
    • Wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
    • Dry all parts thoroughly before reassembling and storing.
  2. Deep Cleaning (Monthly or as needed):
    • Prepare a cleaning solution of water and vinegar (1:1 ratio) or a commercial ice maker cleaner.
    • Pour the solution into the water reservoir.
    • Run the ice maker for a few cycles (without consuming the ice) to circulate the cleaning solution.
    • Drain the solution completely.
    • Rinse the reservoir multiple times with clean water, running a few cycles with fresh water to ensure all cleaning solution residue is removed.
    • Dry thoroughly.
  3. Storage: If the ice maker will not be used for an extended period, drain all water, clean the unit thoroughly, and store it in a dry, well-ventilated area.

8. Troubleshooting
