Setup and Installation

Proper installation is crucial for optimal performance. Follow these steps carefully:

  1. Mount the Main Unit: Use the provided suction cup mount to securely attach the main dash cam unit to a suitable flat surface on your motorcycle, such as the dashboard or handlebars, ensuring it does not obstruct your view or controls.
  2. Install Front Camera: Mount the front camera in a position that provides a clear, unobstructed view of the road ahead. Ensure it is securely fastened.
  3. Install Rear Camera: Mount the rear camera at the back of your motorcycle, ensuring it has a clear view of the road behind. The cameras are IP68 waterproof for outdoor exposure.
  4. Connect Cameras: Connect the front and rear cameras to the main unit using the provided 4-pin connection cables. Ensure connections are secure and waterproof.
  5. Power Connection: Connect the power cable to the main unit and to your motorcycle's power source. Ensure the wiring is routed safely and does not interfere with moving parts.
  6. Insert Micro SD Card: Insert a compatible Micro SD card (not included) into the designated slot on the main unit. A Class 10 or higher card is recommended for reliable recording.

Operating Instructions

Powering On/Off

  • The dash cam will typically power on automatically when your motorcycle's ignition is turned on and power is supplied.
  • It will power off automatically when the ignition is turned off.
  • Manual power control may be available via a dedicated button on the unit.

Recording

  • Once powered on, the dash cam will begin recording automatically.
  • Video files are saved in segments (e.g., 1, 3, or 5 minutes) to the Micro SD card.
  • The loop recording function ensures continuous recording by overwriting the oldest files when the card is full.

G-Sensor Function

  • The built-in G-sensor detects sudden impacts or rapid deceleration/acceleration.
  • When triggered, the current video segment is automatically locked and protected from being overwritten by loop recording. These files are stored in a separate "Event" folder.

Display and Menu Navigation

  • The 3.0-inch display shows live feeds from both cameras. You can switch between single-camera view or split-screen view.
  • Use the physical buttons on the unit (e.g., OK, M, Up, Down) to navigate through the menu options.
  • Settings such as video resolution, loop recording duration, G-sensor sensitivity, date/time, and language can be adjusted in the menu.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the main unit display and camera lenses. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Camera Care: The cameras are IP68 waterproof, but avoid directing high-pressure water jets directly at them.
  • SD Card Management: Periodically format the Micro SD card (at least once a month) within the dash cam's settings to maintain optimal performance and prevent data corruption. Back up any important footage before formatting.
  • Firmware Updates: Check the manufacturer's website for any available firmware updates to ensure your device has the latest features and bug fixes.

Troubleshooting

Recording stops or freezes.

Video quality is poor.
  • Camera lenses are dirty: Clean them gently.
  • Protective film still on lens: Remove it.

G-sensor triggers too often/not at all.
  • Adjust G-sensor sensitivity in the settings menu.
