Port Layout and Functions:

• USB-C PD Charging Port: Supports up to 100W Power Delivery (20V/5A) for fast charging your host device.
• HDMI 1: Supports up to 4K@30Hz resolution.
• HDMI 2: Supports up to 4K@30Hz resolution.
• VGA Port: Supports up to 1080P@60Hz resolution.

3. Setup

Follow these steps to set up your docking station:

1. Connect to Host Device: Plug the integrated USB-C cable from the docking station into a full-featured USB-C port on your laptop. Ensure your laptop's USB-C port supports data, video output (DisplayPort Alt Mode), and power delivery for full functionality.
2. Connect Power Adapter (Optional but Recommended): For stable performance and to charge your laptop, connect your laptop's original USB-C power adapter to the docking station's USB-C PD charging port.
3. Connect External Displays: Connect your monitors to the HDMI (4K@30Hz) and/or VGA (1080P@60Hz) ports on the docking station using appropriate cables.
4. Connect Peripherals: Plug in your USB devices (keyboard, mouse, external hard drives, etc.) into the USB 3.0 or USB 2.0 ports.
5. Connect to Network: For a stable internet connection, connect an Ethernet cable from your router/modem to the RJ45 Gigabit Ethernet port on the docking station.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1. Display Modes

The docking station supports various display configurations depending on your operating system.

Windows System: Triple Display (Extend Mode / Mirror Mode)

On Windows systems, this multiport adapter supports up to 3 monitors for both Mirror Mode and Extend Mode.

• Extend Mode: Allows you to display different content on each connected monitor, expanding your desktop workspace.
• Mirror Mode: Duplicates your laptop's display across all connected monitors.

Resolution Notes:

• Single HDMI 1 or Dual HDMI simultaneously: Up to 4K@30Hz (under DP1.4 source).
• When VGA Port is connected, the maximum resolution will be 1080P.

Mac OS System: Display Limitations

Due to Mac OS limitations, this laptop docking station CANNOT extend two different screens. It only supports Mirror Mode or dual mode, where the three external monitors show the same content but differ from the host display.

4.2. Data Transfer

The docking station provides high-speed data transfer capabilities:

• USB 3.0 Ports: Transfer data at up to 5Gbps. Ideal for external hard drives, SSDs, and high-speed peripherals.
• SD/TF Card Readers: Access files from universal SD and Micro SD memory cards with speeds up to 5Gbps.

4.3. Power Delivery (PD) Charging

4.4. Ethernet Connection

• No Display Output: Ensure your laptop's USB-C port supports DisplayPort Alt Mode. Check all cable connections (USB-C to hub, HDMI/VGA to monitor). Try restarting your laptop. For Windows, press `Window + P` to select display mode. For Mac, go to System Settings > Displays > Arrangement.
• Mac OS Triple Display Limitation: As noted, Mac OS does not support extending to three different external displays. All external displays will mirror each other or extend from the laptop as a single mirrored desktop.
• Intermittent Connectivity: Ensure the docking station is receiving sufficient power, especially when multiple power-hungry devices are connected. Connect your laptop's power adapter to the PD port.
• Slow Data Transfer: Verify that you are using USB 3.0 ports for high-speed devices. Ensure your cables are also USB 3.0 compatible.
• Ethernet Not Working: Check the Ethernet cable connection. Ensure your laptop's network settings are configured correctly.
• Device Not Recognized: Disconnect and reconnect the device. Try a different USB port. Ensure necessary drivers are installed on your laptop (usually automatic).
• Overheating: The hub may become warm during heavy use, which is normal. Ensure adequate ventilation around the device.
