4. Setup Guide

4.1. SIM Card Installation

  1. Ensure the router is powered off.
  2. Locate the SIM card slot on the router. The QC300K-L supports Nano SIM cards.
  3. Carefully insert your activated Nano SIM card into the slot until it clicks into place. Ensure the SIM card is active and does not have a PIN code enabled, as this router may not support PIN code entry.

4.2. Powering On with POE Adapter

  1. Connect one end of the RJ45 Ethernet cable to the WAN/POE port on the router.
  2. Connect the other end of the RJ45 Ethernet cable to the POE port on the POE Power Supply.
  3. Plug the POE Power Supply into a standard electrical outlet. The router's power indicator light should illuminate.

4.3. Initial Configuration (APN Settings)

Even if your SIM card is compatible, manual APN configuration might be necessary for internet access. Consult your mobile operator's official website or your mobile phone's settings for the correct APN details.

  1. Connect a computer or mobile device to the router's Wi-Fi network (default SSID and password can be found on the device label or in the included quick start guide).
  2. Open a web browser and navigate to the router's default IP address: http://172.16.0.1.
  3. Log in using the default username and password, which are typically admin for both.
  4. Once logged in, navigate to the "Network Configuration" or "APN Settings" section.
  5. Enable "APN manual setting" and enter the correct APN, username, and password provided by your SIM card carrier.
  6. Save the settings and restart the router if prompted.
