Important Safety Instructions
- Read all instructions before operating the toaster.
- Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
- To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse cord, plug, or toaster in water or other liquid.
- Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
- Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts.
- Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or after the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner.
- The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance manufacturer may cause injuries.
- Do not use outdoors.
- Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.

- To disconnect, turn any control to "off," then remove plug from wall outlet.

- A fire may occur if toasters are covered or touching flammable material, including curtains, draperies, walls, and the like, when in operation.

- Always remove bread carefully after toasting to avoid burns.

Setup
- Unpack the toaster and all its components. Remove any packaging materials, stickers, or protective films.
- Place the toaster on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface, away from flammable materials like curtains or walls. Ensure adequate ventilation around the toaster.
- Unwind the power cord from the cord wrap at the bottom of the toaster.
- Before first use, operate the toaster without bread on the highest setting (7) a few times to burn off any manufacturing residues and eliminate initial odors. This is normal and safe.

Operating Instructions
Basic Toasting
- Insert up to four slices of bread into the toasting slots.
- Select your desired browning level using the independent browning control dials (1-7). A lower number yields lighter toast, while a higher number results in darker toast.
- Press down the toast lever until it locks into place. The toasting cycle will begin.
- When the desired shade is reached, the toast will automatically pop up.
- Use the high-lift lever to raise smaller items further for safe removal.

Bagel Function
The bagel setting is designed to toast the cut side of bagels and English muffins while gently warming the outer side.
- Insert bagels or English muffins with the cut side facing inwards towards the center heating elements.
- Select your desired browning level.
- Press down the toast lever, then press the Bagel button. The indicator light will illuminate.
- The toaster will automatically adjust the heating for bagels.
Defrost Function
Use the defrost function to toast frozen bread items.
- Place frozen bread into the toasting slots.
- Select your desired browning level.
- Press down the toast lever, then press the Defrost button. The indicator light will illuminate.
- The toaster will automatically extend the toasting time to account for thawing.
Cancel Function
To stop the toasting cycle at any time, simply press the Cancel button. The toast lever will immediately pop up.
Using the Warming Rack
The removable warming racks are ideal for heating croissants, muffins, or other pastries that should not be placed directly in the toasting slots.
- Place the warming racks securely over the toasting slots.
- Place the items to be warmed on top of the racks.
- Set the browning control to a low setting (e.g., 1 or 2).
- Press down the toast lever to activate the heating elements.
- Monitor the items closely to prevent burning. Press the Cancel button when warming is complete.
- Remove the warmed items carefully.

Maintenance
Cleaning the Crumb Trays
Regularly cleaning the crumb trays prevents crumb buildup, which can cause smoke or fire.
- Ensure the toaster is unplugged and completely cool.
- Pull out the removable crumb trays located at the bottom of the toaster.
- Discard crumbs. Wipe the trays with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
- Slide the crumb trays back into place until they lock securely.

Cleaning the Exterior
Wipe the exterior of the toaster with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or metal scouring pads, as they may scratch the stainless steel finish. Dry thoroughly after cleaning.
Cord Storage
For convenient storage and to keep your countertop tidy, wrap the power cord around the cord wrap located on the underside of the toaster.
Troubleshooting
