1. Setup

1.1 Package Contents

Verify that all items are present in the package:

• 2 x BassPal F019 Portable Bluetooth Speakers
• 2 x Micro USB Charging Cables
• 1 x User Manual

1.2 Charging the Speakers

Before first use, fully charge the speakers. Connect the Micro USB charging cable to the speaker's charging port and the other end to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port. The LED indicator will show charging status.

• Charging Time: Approximately 2 hours.
• Battery Life: Approximately 2 hours of average use.
• Important: The charging current must not exceed 1A.

1.3 Power On/Off

To power on, press and hold the power button until the LED indicator lights up. To power off, press and hold the power button again until the LED indicator turns off.

1.4 Bluetooth Pairing (Single Speaker)

1. Ensure the speaker is charged and powered on. The LED indicator will blink, indicating it is in pairing mode.
2. On your device (smartphone, tablet, laptop), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
3. Select "F019" from the list of devices.
4. Once connected, the LED indicator will stop blinking and remain solid blue. You will hear a confirmation tone.

1.5 True Wireless Stereo (TWS) Pairing (Two Speakers)

TWS technology allows two F019 speakers to connect wirelessly for a stereo sound experience. Follow these steps carefully:

1. Step 1: Initial Pairing of First Speaker
   • Ensure both speakers are powered off and not paired to any device.
   • Turn on only ONE speaker. Pair this speaker to your Bluetooth device (e.g., smartphone) as described in Section 1.4. You should see "F019" connected in your device's Bluetooth settings.
2. Step 2: Connecting the Second Speaker
   • Turn on the SECOND speaker. Its LED will blink, indicating it's in pairing mode.
   • Immediately press and hold the Play/Pause button on the FIRST (already paired) speaker for a few seconds until you hear a beep.
   • The two speakers will now connect to each other. The LED on both speakers will become solid blue, and you will hear a confirmation tone.
   • On your Bluetooth device, you should still only see ONE "F019" connected. If you see two "F019" entries, disconnect and "forget" both from your device, then restart the TWS pairing process.
3. Subsequent Use: Once paired in TWS mode, simply power on both speakers simultaneously. They will automatically connect to each other and then to your last paired device.

2. Operating Instructions

2.1 Basic Controls

The speaker features touch controls for various functions:

• Power Button: Press and hold to power on/off.
• Play/Pause Button: Press once to play or pause music. Press and hold for TWS pairing (see Section 1.5).
• Volume Up/Next Track: Short press for volume up. Long press for next track.
• Volume Down/Previous Track: Short press for volume down. Long press for previous track.
• Mode Button: Press to switch between Bluetooth and FM Radio modes.

2.2 FM Radio Function

To use the built-in FM radio:

1. Press the Mode button to switch to FM Radio mode.
2. The speaker will automatically scan and save available FM stations.
3. Use the Volume Up/Down buttons to navigate between saved stations.

2.3 Hands-Free Calling

With the built-in microphone, you can answer calls directly through the speaker when connected via Bluetooth.

• Answer Call: Press the Play/Pause button once.
• End Call: Press the Play/Pause button once during a call.
• Reject Call: Press and hold the Play/Pause button.

2.4 Waterproof Feature (IPX5)

The BassPal F019 speakers are IPX5 waterproof, meaning they can resist water spray and splashes. They are suitable for use in environments like showers, pools, or beaches. However, they are not designed for submersion in water.

3. Maintenance

3.1 Cleaning

Wipe the speaker with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, alcohol, or chemical solvents, as these may damage the surface or internal components.

3.2 Storage

Store the speaker in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. If storing for an extended period, charge the battery periodically to maintain its lifespan.

3.3 Battery Care

To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. Recharge the speaker when the battery is low. Always use a charging current that does not exceed 1A.

4. Troubleshooting

4.1 Speaker Does Not Power On

• Ensure the battery is charged. Connect the speaker to a power source using the Micro USB cable.
• Press and hold the power button for a few seconds.

4.2 Cannot Pair via Bluetooth

• Ensure the speaker is in pairing mode (blinking LED).
• Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your device and it is within 33 feet (10 meters) of the speaker.
• Try turning off and on both the speaker and your Bluetooth device.
• If previously paired, "forget" the device from your Bluetooth settings and attempt to pair again.

4.3 TWS Pairing Issues

If you experience difficulty pairing two speakers in TWS mode:

• Ensure both speakers are fully charged.
• "Forget" any existing "F019" connections from your Bluetooth device.
• Follow the TWS pairing steps in Section 1.5 precisely. The key is to pair one speaker to your device first, then turn on the second speaker and immediately press the Play/Pause button on the first speaker to initiate TWS connection between the two speakers.
• If you see two "F019" entries in your device's Bluetooth list after attempting TWS pairing, it means they did not connect in TWS mode. Disconnect and "forget" both, then restart the process.

4.4 No Sound or Low Volume

• Check the volume levels on both the speaker and your connected device.
• Ensure the speaker is properly connected via Bluetooth.
• If using TWS, ensure both speakers are connected and functioning.
