Setup

Step 1: Battery Installation

Locate the battery cover on the back of the clock.
Turn the battery cover counter-clockwise to open it.
Insert one D-type battery (not included) into the compartment, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
Replace the battery cover by turning it clockwise until it is securely closed.

Operating Instructions

Step 2: Setting the Time

Locate the time adjust dial on the right side of the clock.
Turn the dial counter-clockwise to set the desired hour and minute.
Ensure the AM/PM indicator (located next to the hour display) is correct for the current time.

Note: There might be a slight minute difference as the time is set by the dial. Do not turn the dial in the opposite direction or force it, as this may damage the mechanism.

Maintenance

Troubleshooting

Number Pad Separation

If a number pad becomes separated from its mechanism, gently bend the separated pad slightly and carefully fit it back into the small holes on both ends of the rotating mechanism. Refer to the image below for visual guidance.

Clock Not Flipping

Ensure the D-type battery is correctly installed and has sufficient power. Replace the battery if it is old or depleted.

Excessive Noise

The clock produces a soft, audible click as the numbers flip, which is a normal characteristic of its mechanical operation.
If the noise is unusually loud, grinding, or continuous, ensure no parts are obstructed or misaligned.

Time Inaccuracy

The clock has a typical time difference range of approximately ±90 seconds per month. This is standard for mechanical flip clocks.
