Tips for Best Results
- Dough Preparation: Use fresh, well-risen dough. For a crispier crust, ensure the dough is not too thick.
- Toppings: Avoid overloading the pizza with toppings, as this can increase cooking time and prevent even cooking. Ensure wet ingredients are drained.
- Semolina Flour: Always dust the aluminum pan and the bottom of your pizza dough with semolina flour to prevent sticking to the stone.
- Preheating: Adequate preheating is crucial for achieving a crispy crust. Do not skip this step.
- Batch Cooking: If cooking multiple pizzas, allow the oven to reheat for a minute or two between pizzas to maintain optimal temperature.
5. Maintenance and Cleaning
Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and performance of your pizza oven.
Cleaning the Refractory Stone
- Always ensure the oven is unplugged and completely cool before cleaning.
- Do not use water, detergents, or abrasive cleaners on the refractory stone. The stone is porous and will absorb liquids, which can cause it to crack when heated.
- Scrape off any burnt-on food residue with a plastic or wooden spatula.
- Wipe the stone with a dry cloth or paper towel.
- Discoloration of the stone is normal over time and does not affect performance.
Cleaning the Exterior
- Wipe the exterior surfaces of the oven with a damp cloth.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as they may damage the finish.
- Ensure no water enters the electrical components.
Cleaning the Aluminum Pizza Pans

6. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your G3 Ferrari Delizia Electric Pizza Oven, refer to the following table for common problems and solutions.
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Oven does not heat up. | Not plugged in; power outage; faulty outlet; temperature/timer not set. | Ensure appliance is securely plugged in. Check power supply. Try a different outlet. Set temperature and timer knobs. |
| Pizza is not cooking evenly. | Insufficient preheating; uneven topping distribution; pizza not centered. | Allow full preheating (10-15 minutes). Distribute toppings evenly. Center the pizza on the stone. Rotate pizza halfway through cooking if necessary. |
| Pizza sticks to the stone. | Insufficient semolina flour; dough too wet. | Ensure adequate semolina flour is used on the pan and dough. Use a drier dough or reduce moisture in toppings. |
| Excessive smoke during cooking. | Food residue on the stone; cheese/toppings falling onto heating elements. | Clean the stone thoroughly after each use. Avoid overloading pizza. Ensure toppings are contained on the pizza. |
| Pizza crust is not crispy. | Oven not hot enough; dough too thick; too many wet toppings. | Ensure oven is fully preheated to maximum temperature. Use thinner dough. Reduce wet toppings. |
