1. Introduction
This manual provides detailed instructions for the safe and efficient operation, setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your KSGER T12 Soldering Iron Station. This device is designed for electronic welding tasks, offering precise temperature control and rapid heating capabilities.
2. Safety Information
Always observe the following safety precautions to prevent injury or damage to the device:
- Ensure the soldering station is connected to a properly grounded power outlet.
- Do not operate the soldering iron continuously at high temperatures, as this can damage the tip and heating core.
- Allow the soldering iron to cool completely before handling or storing.
- Use in a well-ventilated area to avoid inhaling fumes.
- Keep out of reach of children.
- Do not expose the unit to moisture or extreme temperatures.
3. Package Contents
Verify that all items listed below are included in your package:
- 1x T12 Soldering Station
- 1x 907 Handle
- 1x T12-K Soldering Tip
- 1x T12-D16 Soldering Tip
- 1x T12-JL02 Soldering Tip
Note: A power plug is not included in the package and must be supplied by the user.

4. Setup
- Connect the Soldering Handle: Attach the 907 handle to the 'HEATER' port on the front of the soldering station. Ensure it is securely screwed on until you hear a click, indicating a full connection.
- Insert a Soldering Tip: Unscrew the yellow collar on the 907 handle. Carefully insert your desired T12 soldering tip (e.g., T12-K, T12-D16, T12-JL02) into the handle. Screw the collar back on hand-tight.
- Connect Power: Plug a compatible AC 100-240V power cable (not included) into the power port on the rear of the station.
- Power On: Flip the red ON/OFF switch on the rear panel to the 'ON' position. The OLED display will illuminate.

5. Operating Instructions
The T12 Soldering Station features an intuitive OLED display and a multi-function dial for easy operation.
5.1. Temperature Control
- Adjusting Temperature: Rotate the dial on the front panel to increase or decrease the target temperature. The current temperature will rapidly adjust to the set point.
- Rapid Heating: The station heats up very quickly, reaching 400°C within approximately 5 seconds. A beep will sound when the target temperature is reached.
5.2. Menu Navigation
Press and hold the dial for approximately 2 seconds to enter the Setup Menu. Rotate the dial to navigate through the options and press the dial to select an option.

6. Maintenance
- Tip Care: Clean soldering tips regularly with a damp sponge or brass wool to remove excess solder and oxidation.
- Tinning Tips: Always tin the tip with a thin layer of solder before storing to prevent oxidation and prolong its lifespan.
- Avoid High Temperatures: Do not operate the iron tip continuously at excessively high temperatures (above 380°C for extended periods) as this can rapidly damage the tip and heating core.
- Case Cleaning: Wipe the aluminum alloy case with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
7. Troubleshooting
- Temperature Fluctuation/ERROR on New Tip: It is normal for the temperature to jump or display 'ERROR' with a new soldering iron tip due to unstable resistance. Stability will gradually improve after several uses.
- No Power: Ensure the power cable is securely connected to both the station and a working power outlet. Check the ON/OFF switch on the rear panel. Remember, the power plug is not included.
- Tip Oxidation/Short Lifespan: Continuous operation above 380°C can cause rapid oxidation and significantly shorten the heating core's life. Welding work is generally recommended between 300-380°C.
