Setup

1. Charging Your Headphones

Before first use, fully charge your Beoplay H8i headphones. A full charge takes approximately 3.5 hours.

• Connect the small end of the included USB-A to USB-C cable to the USB-C port on your headphones.
• Connect the larger end of the USB-A cable to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.
• The indicator light on the headphones will show charging status. It will turn solid green when fully charged.

2. Pairing via Bluetooth

The Beoplay H8i can be paired with up to two devices simultaneously.

• Ensure your headphones are charged and turned off.
• Press and hold the power button for 5 seconds until the indicator light flashes blue, indicating pairing mode.
• On your device (smartphone, tablet, computer), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
• Select "Beoplay H8i" from the list of found devices.
• Once connected, the indicator light on the headphones will turn solid blue.

For optimal experience and advanced settings, download the Bang & Olufsen app from your device's app store. The app allows you to adjust sound profiles, manage ANC, and update firmware.

Operating Your Headphones

Controls

The Beoplay H8i features intuitive touch and button controls located on the earcups.

• Power On/Off: Press and hold the power button.

• To activate or deactivate Transparency Mode, use the dedicated button on the earcup or control it via the Bang & Olufsen app.

Proximity Sensor

The built-in proximity sensor automatically pauses audio when you remove the headphones and resumes when you put them back on.

• To disable this function: With headphones powered on, press and hold the middle button on the right headphone for 5 seconds until the indicator light flashes blue, then double-press the middle button. The indicator light will turn red.
• To re-enable: Repeat the same steps until the indicator light turns green.

Maintenance
