1. Introduction
This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your Xummy Anytek A78 Car DVR Dash Cam. Please read this manual thoroughly before using the device to ensure proper functionality and to avoid damage.
2. Product Overview
The Anytek A78 is a 3-inch 1080P Full HD car DVR with a 170-degree wide-angle lens, designed to record your driving journey. It features night vision, G-sensor technology, loop recording, and parking monitoring for enhanced security.

3. Setup
3.1 Package Contents
- 1 X Anytek A78 Car DVR
- 1 X Car Charger (DC 12-24V input, DC 5.3V MINI-USB output, 1A)
- 1 X Bracket (Suction Cup Mount)
- 1 X USB Data Cable (MINI-USB-5P)
- 1 X User Manual
Note: A TF (Micro SD) card is required for recording and is not included in the package.
3.2 Inserting the TF Card
- Ensure the dash cam is powered off.
- Locate the TF card slot on the side of the device.
- Insert a Class 10 or higher TF card (up to 32GB recommended) into the slot until it clicks into place.
- To remove, gently push the card until it springs out.
3.3 Mounting the Dash Cam
- Clean the windshield area where you intend to mount the dash cam.
- Attach the suction cup mount to the dash cam.
- Press the suction cup firmly against the windshield and flip the lever to secure it.
- Adjust the angle of the dash cam to ensure a clear view of the road ahead.
3.4 Power Connection
- Connect the car charger to the MINI-USB port on the dash cam.
- Plug the other end of the car charger into your vehicle's cigarette lighter socket.
- The dash cam will typically power on automatically when the vehicle starts and power off when the vehicle is turned off.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Powering On/Off
- Automatic: The device powers on and begins recording automatically when connected to vehicle power and the engine starts. It powers off automatically when the engine is turned off.
- Manual: Press and hold the Power button to manually turn the device on or off.
4.2 Recording Modes
- Loop Recording: The dash cam records video in continuous loops (e.g., 1, 3, or 5 minutes). When the TF card is full, the oldest unlocked files are overwritten. This ensures continuous recording without manual intervention.
- G-Sensor (Emergency Recording): In the event of a sudden impact or collision, the built-in G-sensor detects the event and automatically locks the current video file, preventing it from being overwritten by loop recording. The sensitivity of the G-sensor can be adjusted in the settings.

4.3 Parking Monitoring
When enabled, the parking monitor function allows the dash cam to automatically wake up and start recording if it detects vibration or impact while the vehicle is parked and the engine is off. This feature requires a continuous power supply or the dash cam's internal battery to have sufficient charge.

4.4 Menu Navigation
Use the physical buttons on the device to navigate through the menu options displayed on the 3.0-inch IPS screen. Common settings include:
- Video Resolution (e.g., 1080P, 720P)
- Loop Recording Duration
- G-Sensor Sensitivity
- Parking Monitor On/Off
- Date/Time Stamp
- Language Settings
- Format TF Card
5. Maintenance
5.1 Cleaning the Device
- Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the dash cam body.
- For the lens, use a specialized lens cleaning cloth to avoid scratches. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
5.2 TF Card Management
- Regularly format the TF card (e.g., once a month) to maintain optimal recording performance and prevent data corruption.
- Back up important video files to a computer before formatting.
6. Troubleshooting
- Device does not power on:
Ensure the car charger is properly connected and the vehicle's cigarette lighter socket is functioning. Check the car charger's fuse if necessary. - Device stops recording or shows "Card Full" error:
Format the TF card. Ensure loop recording is enabled. Use a Class 10 or higher TF card. - Video quality is poor:
Clean the lens. Ensure the protective film has been removed from the lens. Check video resolution settings. - G-sensor is too sensitive/not sensitive enough:
Adjust the G-sensor sensitivity setting in the menu. - Screen freezes or device is unresponsive:
Press the reset button (if available) or disconnect power to restart the device.
