Control Buttons:
- SNOOZE-LIGHT Bar: Press to activate backlight or snooze the alarm.

4. Setup
4.1 Battery Installation
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the alarm clock (refer to Figure 3.2).
- Slide open the battery compartment cover.
- Insert the required batteries (not included) according to the polarity indicators (+ and -) inside the compartment.
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
4.2 Initial Time Setting
- After installing batteries, the display will light up.
- Press and hold the TIME SET button on the back until the hour digits start flashing.
- Use the H button on the top to adjust the hour.
- Press the TIME SET button again to confirm the hour and move to minute setting. The minute digits will flash.
- Use the M button on the top to adjust the minutes.
- Press the TIME SET button one last time to confirm the minutes and exit time setting mode.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Setting the Alarm
- Ensure the alarm ON/OFF switch on the back is in the 'OFF' position during setting to avoid accidental activation.
- Press the TIME SET button once briefly (do not hold). The display will show the current alarm time, and the hour digits will flash.
- Use the H button to set the desired alarm hour.
- Press the TIME SET button again. The minute digits will flash.
- Use the M button to set the desired alarm minutes.
- Press the TIME SET button one last time to confirm the alarm time and exit alarm setting mode.
- To activate the alarm, slide the ON/OFF switch on the back to the 'ON' position. A small alarm icon may appear on the display to indicate it is active.
5.2 Snooze Function
- When the alarm sounds, press the SNOOZE-LIGHT bar on the top of the clock.
- The alarm will temporarily stop and sound again after a few minutes (typically 5-9 minutes, depending on the model's default setting).
5.3 Backlight Activation
- To illuminate the display in low light conditions, briefly press the SNOOZE-LIGHT bar.
- The backlight will activate for a few seconds and then turn off automatically.
5.4 Disabling the Alarm
- To turn off the alarm completely, slide the ON/OFF switch on the back to the 'OFF' position. The alarm icon on the display should disappear.
- To stop a sounding alarm without snoozing, press any button other than the SNOOZE-LIGHT bar (e.g., H or M). The alarm will stop and reset for the next day.
6. Maintenance
- Clean the clock with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Avoid exposing the clock to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, or high humidity.
- If the clock will not be used for an extended period, remove the batteries to prevent leakage.
7. Troubleshooting
- Display is blank or dim:
- Check if batteries are inserted correctly with correct polarity.
- Replace old batteries with new ones.
- Alarm does not sound:
- Ensure the alarm ON/OFF switch on the back is in the 'ON' position.
- Verify that the alarm time is set correctly.
- Check battery level.
- Time is incorrect:
- Re-set the time following the instructions in Section 4.2.
