Product Overview (Buttons and Ports)
Familiarize yourself with the device's controls and connection points:
- MFB Button (Multi-Function Button): Power ON/OFF, Play/Pause.

Setup
1. Charging the Device
Before initial use, fully charge the BTI-038. Connect the provided USB-C charging cable to the device's Type-C charging port and a USB power adapter (not included). The indicator light will show charging status and turn off when fully charged. A full charge takes approximately 2 hours.
2. Transmitter (TX) Mode Setup
Use TX mode to transmit audio from non-Bluetooth devices (e.g., TV, PC, MP3 player) to Bluetooth headphones or speakers.
- Switch the TX/RX mode switch to TX.
- Connect the BTI-038 to your audio source (e.g., TV) using one of the following cables:
- Optical Cable: For digital audio output from your TV. Ensure your TV's audio output format is set to PCM (Dolby/DTS is not supported).
- 3.5mm AUX Cable: For analog audio output from your device.
- RCA Audio Cable: Use the 3.5mm to RCA adapter cable for devices with RCA outputs.
- Power on the BTI-038 by pressing and holding the MFB button. The indicator light will flash, indicating pairing mode.
- Put your Bluetooth headphones or speakers into pairing mode.
- The BTI-038 will automatically search and connect to your Bluetooth audio device. Once connected, the indicator light will remain solid.
3. Receiver (RX) Mode Setup
Use RX mode to receive audio from Bluetooth-enabled devices (e.g., smartphone, tablet) and output it to wired speakers, headphones, or car stereos.
- Switch the TX/RX mode switch to RX.
- Connect the BTI-038 to your wired audio system (e.g., wired speaker, wired headphones, car stereo) using the 3.5mm AUX cable or RCA audio cable.
- Power on the BTI-038 by pressing and holding the MFB button. The indicator light will flash, indicating pairing mode.
- Enable Bluetooth on your smartphone or tablet and search for "BTI-038" in the list of available devices.
- Select "BTI-038" to pair. Once connected, the indicator light will remain solid.

Operating Instructions
1. Switching Modes
To switch between Transmitter (TX) and Receiver (RX) modes, use the physical TX/RX switch located on the side of the device. Ensure the device is powered off before switching modes for optimal performance.
2. Dual Link / Multipoint Connection
The BTI-038 supports connecting to two devices simultaneously.
- TX Mode (Dual Link): After successfully pairing with the first Bluetooth headphone/speaker, put the second Bluetooth headphone/speaker into pairing mode. Press the Pairing button on the BTI-038 to connect to the second device. Audio will be transmitted to both devices simultaneously.
- RX Mode (Multipoint): After successfully pairing with the first smartphone/tablet, disable Bluetooth on the first device. Pair the BTI-038 with the second smartphone/tablet. Once paired, re-enable Bluetooth on the first device. The BTI-038 will connect to both, but only one device can stream audio at a time.

3. Volume Control and Track Navigation
Use the '+' and '-' buttons on the device to adjust the volume. In RX mode, these buttons can also be used to navigate tracks (short press for volume, long press for next/previous track).
Maintenance
1. Battery and Charging
The BTI-038 features a built-in 450 mAh rechargeable battery. When the battery is low, the indicator light may flash or change color. Connect the device to a power source using the USB-C cable to charge. The device can be used while charging.

2. Cleaning and Storage
Wipe the device with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials. Store the device in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
Troubleshooting
- No Sound or Poor Sound Quality:
- Ensure the BTI-038 is fully charged.
- Check that the audio cables are securely connected to both the BTI-038 and your audio source/destination.
- Verify that the BTI-038 is in the correct TX or RX mode.
- For Optical connection in TX mode, ensure your TV's audio output is set to PCM. Dolby/DTS formats are not supported.
- Adjust the volume on both the BTI-038 and the connected audio device (headphones, speakers, TV).
- Ensure Bluetooth devices are within range (approximately 33 feet or 10 meters).
- Pairing Issues:
- Ensure the BTI-038 is in pairing mode (indicator light flashing).
- Put your Bluetooth headphones/speakers/smartphone into pairing mode.
- Clear previous pairing records on both the BTI-038 and your Bluetooth device, then attempt to pair again.
- Restart both the BTI-038 and the Bluetooth device.
- Automatic Reconnection Failure:
- Ensure the previously connected device's Bluetooth is enabled and it is within range.
- If automatic reconnection fails, manually re-pair the devices.
