Setup Instructions
Before installing the filter, ensure your air purifier is unplugged from the power outlet. This filter is compatible with Filtrete Room Air Purifier Devices FAP-C01-F1 and FAP-T02-F1.
- Locate the filter compartment on your Filtrete air purifier. This is typically found by removing a cover on the side or back of the unit.
- Gently remove the old filter by pulling on the designated tabs. Dispose of the used filter responsibly.
- Unpack the new Filtrete F1 filter. Note the foam border on the filter, which ensures a snug fit.
- Insert the new filter into the compartment, ensuring it is oriented correctly according to the air purifier's design. The filter should slide in easily and fit securely.
- Replace the air purifier's cover securely.
- Plug the air purifier back into the power outlet.

Operating Instructions
The Filtrete air purifier, when equipped with the F1 filter, offers various settings for optimal air purification.
- Power Button: Press to turn the unit on or off.
- Fan Speed: Select from multiple fan speeds (e.g., 1, 2, 3) to adjust airflow and purification intensity. Higher speeds provide faster air cleaning.
- Timer: Set the air purifier to operate for a specific duration (e.g., 2, 4, 8 hours) before automatically turning off.

Troubleshooting
- Filter Indicator Light Remains On: If the filter indicator light remains on after replacing the filter, ensure you have pressed and held the 'Reset' button on the air purifier's control panel until the light turns off.
