4. Operation
4.1 Cooking Rice
- Measure Rice: Use the provided measuring cup to measure the desired amount of rice. One cup of uncooked rice typically yields two cups of cooked rice.
- Wash Rice: Rinse the rice thoroughly under cold water until the water runs clear. This helps remove excess starch.
- Add Water: Place the washed rice into the non-stick inner pot. Add the appropriate amount of water. A general ratio is 1 cup of rice to 1.5-2 cups of water, depending on the type of rice and desired consistency. Refer to the water level markings inside the inner pot for guidance.
- Close Lid: Place the glass lid securely on the inner pot.
- Start Cooking: Plug in the rice cooker. Press the "Cook" switch down. The "Cook" indicator light will illuminate.
- Automatic Keep Warm: Once the rice is cooked, the switch will automatically flip up to the "Warm" position, and the "Warm" indicator light will illuminate. The rice cooker will keep the rice warm until unplugged.
- Serve: Allow the rice to rest in "Warm" mode for 5-10 minutes before serving for best results. Use the provided rice spatula to fluff and serve.

- Place Food: Place the steamer tray into the inner pot. Arrange vegetables, fish, or other food items on the steamer tray. Do not overcrowd.
- Close Lid: Place the glass lid securely on the inner pot.
- Start Steaming: Plug in the rice cooker. Press the "Cook" switch down. The "Cook" indicator light will illuminate.
- Monitor: Steaming times vary depending on the food type and quantity. Monitor the food for desired doneness.
- Finish: Once steaming is complete, carefully lift the lid (away from your face to avoid steam) and remove the steamer tray using oven mitts. The cooker will automatically switch to "Warm" mode if left plugged in.
