3. Installation

Proper installation is crucial for the safe and efficient operation of your washer dryer. It is recommended that installation be performed by a qualified technician.

3.1 Unpacking

  • Remove all packaging materials, including the polystyrene base and any protective film.
  • Remove the transit bolts from the rear of the machine. These bolts secure the drum during transport and must be removed before use to prevent damage. Keep them for future transport.

3.2 Location Requirements

  • Place the appliance on a firm, level floor. Uneven surfaces can cause vibration and noise.
  • Ensure adequate ventilation around the machine.
  • Avoid direct sunlight or extreme temperatures.
  • The appliance requires access to a cold water supply, a drain, and a grounded electrical outlet.

3.3 Connecting Water Hoses

  • Connect the cold water inlet hose to the cold water tap and the corresponding inlet on the back of the machine.
  • Ensure all connections are tight to prevent leaks.

3.4 Drain Hose Setup

  • Position the drain hose into a standpipe or over the edge of a sink, ensuring it is securely fixed to prevent displacement during operation.
  • The drain hose should not be kinked or obstructed.

3.5 Leveling the Machine

  • Adjust the leveling feet at the bottom of the machine until it is perfectly stable and level. Use a spirit level to verify.
  • Tighten the lock nuts on the leveling feet to secure them in position.

  • Locate the drain pump filter, usually at the bottom front of the machine.
  • Place a shallow container beneath the filter to catch any residual water.
