2. Safety Information

• WARNING: Risk of Electric Shock. Disconnect power at the fuse or circuit breaker before installation or servicing.
• This product must be installed in accordance with the applicable installation code by a person familiar with the construction and operation of the product and the hazards involved.

5. Setup and Installation

This fixture is designed for easy installation directly to a standard junction box. Follow these steps carefully:

1. Turn off power: Before starting, ensure the power to the junction box is turned off at the circuit breaker or fuse box.
2. Prepare the fixture: Locate the CCT (Color Correlated Temperature) selection switch on the back of the fixture. Select your desired color temperature (3000K, 4000K, or 5000K) before mounting. This setting cannot be changed after installation without removing the fixture.
3. Mounting: Attach the fixture's mounting bracket to the junction box using the provided screws.
4. Wiring: Connect the fixture's wires to the corresponding wires from the junction box (black to black, white to white, ground to ground) using the provided wire nuts. Ensure all connections are secure.
5. Secure the fixture: Carefully push the fixture up against the ceiling and secure it to the mounting bracket.
6. Restore power: Once the fixture is securely installed, restore power at the circuit breaker.

6. Operating Instructions

Once installed and power is restored, the fixture will operate via your wall switch. The selected color temperature (3000K, 4000K, or 5000K) will be active.

• Color Temperature Selection: The CCT switch on the back of the fixture allows you to choose between three distinct light colors. This must be set prior to final installation.
• Dimming: This fixture is dimmable when used with a compatible 120V Triac dimmer switch. Ensure your dimmer is suitable for LED lighting to prevent flickering or damage.

7. Maintenance

The Metalux LED Flush Mount Light is designed for long-lasting, maintenance-free operation.

• Cleaning: To clean the fixture, ensure power is off. Wipe the exterior with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• LED Lifespan: The integrated LEDs are rated for 50,000 hours (L70), meaning no lamp replacement is necessary for the life of the fixture under normal operating conditions.

8. Troubleshooting

If you experience issues with your fixture, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

• Light does not turn on:
  • Check if the power is on at the circuit breaker.
  • Verify all wire connections are secure.
  • Ensure the wall switch is in the 'ON' position.
• Light flickers or dims improperly:

• Incorrect color temperature:
  • The CCT switch must be set before installation. If you need to change it, power off the fixture, carefully remove it, adjust the switch, and reinstall.
