4. Setup and Installation

4.1 Site Selection

Choose a well-ventilated outdoor location, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Ensure sufficient clearance around the unit for proper airflow (minimum 50cm from walls or other obstructions). The ground must be level and capable of supporting the unit's weight (49 kg).

4.2 Plumbing Connection

  1. Connect the heat pump to your pool's filtration system after the filter and before any chemical injection points.
  2. Use the provided PVC connectors (Ø 50mm) for water inlet and outlet.
  3. Ensure all connections are watertight to prevent leaks.
  4. Install a bypass valve system to allow for maintenance without draining the pool.

4.3 Electrical Connection

Electrical installation must be performed by a certified electrician in accordance with local regulations.

4.4 Initial Start-up

  1. Ensure the pool pump is running and water is flowing through the heat pump.
  2. Turn on the power supply to the heat pump.
  3. Set the desired water temperature using the LCD control panel.
  4. Allow several hours or days for the pool water to reach the set temperature, depending on initial water temperature and ambient conditions.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Control Panel (Touch & Go)

The heat pump is equipped with an LCD control panel featuring Touch & Go technology for easy operation. Refer to the specific instructions provided with the control panel for detailed navigation.

5.2 Temperature Setting

Use the up/down arrows on the control panel to adjust the desired pool water temperature. The unit will automatically operate to maintain this temperature.

5.3 Operating Modes

The heat pump primarily operates in heating mode. It will automatically turn on when the pool water temperature drops below the set point and turn off once the set point is reached.

5.4 Wi-Fi Module (Optional)

An optional Wi-Fi module is available for remote control and monitoring. Consult the Wi-Fi module's separate manual for installation and operation instructions.
