Setup

Connecting Your Headphones

The JBL Tune 500 headphones are wired and connect via a standard 3.5mm audio jack. No charging or pairing is required.

  1. Identify the Audio Port: Locate the 3.5mm audio jack on your audio source device (e.g., smartphone, tablet, laptop, MP3 player).
  2. Insert the Connector: Firmly insert the 3.5mm audio connector from the JBL Tune 500 headphones into the audio port of your device.

Note: If your device does not have a 3.5mm audio jack, an adapter (e.g., USB-C to 3.5mm or Lightning to 3.5mm) may be required and is sold separately.

The JBL Tune 500 headphones feature a convenient in-line 1-button remote and microphone for easy control of music playback and calls.

  • Play/Pause Music: Press the button once to play or pause the current track.
  • Skip Track Forward: Press the button twice quickly to skip to the next track.
  • Skip Track Backward: Press the button three times quickly to go back to the previous track.
  • Answer/End Call: Press the button once to answer an incoming call or end an active call.
  • Decline Call: Press and hold the button for approximately 2 seconds to decline an incoming call.
  • Activate Voice Assistant: Press and hold the button for approximately 3 seconds to activate your device's voice assistant (Siri or Google Now).

Foldable Design for Portability
