The Vertex² operates as an intelligent HDMI matrix, splitter, and scaler. It can automatically switch between active input sources based on your configuration. The OLED display on the unit provides real-time information about the active source, resolution, and other status indicators.
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance of your Vertex² device. Keep the unit in a well-ventilated area to prevent overheating. Periodically check for and apply firmware updates to benefit from new features and bug fixes.
Firmware updates are performed via the web interface. Download the latest firmware file from the official HDFury website. Access the device's web interface, navigate to the 'Config' tab, and use the 'FW Update' section to upload the new firmware file. The device will reboot automatically after a successful update.
If you encounter persistent issues or wish to revert all settings to their default state, you can perform a factory reset.
