Setup and Installation
Follow these steps for safe and proper installation of your pendant light.
- Turn Off Power: Before starting any electrical work, ensure the power supply to the junction box is turned off at the circuit breaker or fuse box.
- Prepare Mounting: Attach the mounting plate to the junction box in the ceiling using the provided screws. Ensure it is securely fastened.
- Adjust Height (if applicable): If your pendant has an adjustable rod or chain, determine the desired hanging height and adjust accordingly before wiring.
- Wire Connections: Connect the fixture's wires to the corresponding wires from the junction box. Typically, black to black (live), white to white (neutral), and green/bare copper to green/bare copper (ground). Use UL/ETL listed wire connectors and secure them with electrical tape.
- Secure Fixture: Carefully push the wired connections into the junction box and secure the fixture canopy to the mounting plate using the provided screws.
- Install Bulb: Insert one A19 bulb (not included) into the fixture's socket. The fixture supports up to 60 watts.

- Restore Power: Once installation is complete and all connections are secure, restore power at the circuit breaker or fuse box.

Operating Instructions
The Feiss Atlas Pendant is designed for simple operation. Once properly installed and powered, the light can be controlled via a standard wall switch (push button type) connected to the circuit.

- Bulb Replacement: Ensure power is off before replacing the bulb. Allow the bulb to cool completely before touching. Use only A19 bulbs, up to 60 watts.
