Operating Instructions
1. Powering On/Off and Variable Speed Control
- To turn the drill ON, press the ON/OFF switch.
- To turn the drill OFF, release the ON/OFF switch.
- The drill features variable speed control. The harder you press the ON/OFF switch, the faster the drill will rotate. This allows for precise control over drilling speed.
- For continuous operation, press the ON/OFF switch and then press the Switch Lock On Button. To release, press the ON/OFF switch again.
2. Forward/Reverse Rotation
The Forward/Reverse Rotation Control Lever is located above the ON/OFF switch.
- Push the lever to the left for forward rotation (clockwise), suitable for drilling and driving screws.
- Push the lever to the right for reverse rotation (counter-clockwise), suitable for removing screws or freeing a jammed drill bit.
Always ensure the drill has come to a complete stop before changing the rotation direction.
3. Drill/Hammer Function Selector
The selector switch is located on the top of the drill body.
- Drill Mode (Rotary): Select this mode for drilling into wood, metal, plastics, and for screw driving.
- Hammer Drill Mode (Rotary with Impact): Select this mode for drilling into masonry, concrete, and brick. The hammer action provides a pounding motion in addition to rotation, aiding in faster penetration of hard materials.
Always use appropriate drill bits for the selected mode and material.
4. Using Other Tools and Accessories
The kit includes a variety of hand tools and accessories. Refer to the specific application for each tool:
- Screwdrivers & Bits: Use for fastening and unfastening screws. Select the correct bit type (Phillips, flathead, Torx, etc.) and size for the screw head.
