5. Setup Instructions

Follow these steps to connect your device to an external display:

  1. Connect Power: Plug the USB-A Male connector of the adapter into a 5V/1A or 5V/2A USB power source (e.g., a wall charger, power bank, or TV's USB port). Ensure the power source is active.
  2. Connect to Display: Plug the HDMI Output connector of the adapter into an available HDMI port on your TV, monitor, or projector. Select the corresponding HDMI input on your display.
  3. Connect Mobile Device:
    • Take your smartphone's or tablet's original charging cable (Lightning for iOS, Micro USB or USB-C for Android).
    • Plug the USB-A end of your device's charging cable into the USB-A Female Input port on the Linq adapter.
    • Plug the other end of your device's charging cable (Lightning, Micro USB, or USB-C) into your smartphone or tablet.
  4. Confirmation: Your display should now show the screen of your mobile device. For iOS devices, you may need to confirm 'Trust This Computer' if prompted. For Android devices, ensure USB debugging or screen mirroring options are enabled if mirroring does not start automatically.

6. Operating Instructions

Once connected, the adapter functions as a direct screen mirror. No additional software or apps are typically required for basic mirroring.

  • Screen Mirroring: The content displayed on your smartphone or tablet will be mirrored directly to the connected HDMI display.
  • Resolution: The adapter supports video output up to 1080P Full HD. The actual resolution may depend on your source device and display capabilities.
