6. Setup

6.1 Charging the Speaker

  1. Connect the small end of the USB charging cable to the Micro USB port on the speaker.
  2. Connect the large end of the USB charging cable to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.
  3. The LED indicator will illuminate during charging and change color or turn off when fully charged.

6.2 Powering On/Off

  • To Power On: Press and hold the Power button () for approximately 3 seconds until the LED indicator lights up.
  • To Power Off: Press and hold the Power button () for approximately 3 seconds until the LED indicator turns off.

6.3 Bluetooth Pairing

  1. Ensure the speaker is powered on. The LED indicator will flash, indicating it is in pairing mode.
  2. On your Bluetooth-enabled device (smartphone, tablet, laptop), go to the Bluetooth settings.
  3. Search for available devices and select "Thumpah" from the list.
  4. Once paired, the LED indicator on the speaker will stop flashing and remain solid.
  5. The speaker is now ready to play audio from your device.

7. Operating the Speaker

7.1 Playing Audio

  • After successful Bluetooth pairing, start playing audio on your connected device.
  • Use the Play/Pause button () on the speaker to control playback.
  • Adjust volume using the Volume Up (+) and Volume Down (-) buttons.
  • Press and hold the Volume Up (+) button for the next track.
  • Press and hold the Volume Down (-) button for the previous track.

7.2 Making and Receiving Calls

When connected via Bluetooth, the speaker's built-in microphone allows for hands-free calling.

  • Answer Call: Press the Play/Pause button () once to answer an incoming call.
  • End Call: Press the Play/Pause button () once during a call to end it.
  • Reject Call: Press and hold the Play/Pause button () for 2 seconds to reject an incoming call.
