2. Important Safety Information

5. Setup

5.1 Initial Charging

1. Place the Multi-Styler main unit into the charging base.
2. Connect the power adapter to the charging base and then plug it into a suitable electrical outlet (110V or 220V).
3. The LED indicator on the device will illuminate, indicating that it is charging.
4. For the first use, charge the device for at least 8-12 hours to ensure optimal battery life. Subsequent charges typically take less time.

5.2 Attaching and Removing Trimmer Heads

1. Ensure the device is turned off before changing heads.
2. To remove a head, gently push it upwards from the main unit until it detaches.
3. To attach a head, align the head with the slot on the main unit and press down firmly until it clicks into place.

5.3 Attaching and Removing Guide Combs

1. Ensure the device is turned off and the desired trimmer head is attached.
2. Select the appropriate guide comb for your desired hair length.
3. Align the guide comb with the teeth of the trimmer head and slide it on until it locks securely.
4. To remove, gently lift the comb from the back and slide it off.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Turning On/Off

Press the On/Off button located on the main unit to power the device on or off. The LED indicator will light up when the device is on.

6.2 Using the Hair Cutting Head

1. Attach the hair cutting head and the desired guide comb.
2. Start with a longer comb length if you are unsure, and gradually reduce it.
3. Hold the device with the comb flat against the head and move it slowly against the direction of hair growth.

6.3 Using the Beard and Mustache Trimmer Head

1. Attach the beard and mustache trimmer head. You may use a guide comb for uniform length or use the bare blade for precise edging.
2. For trimming, move the device in smooth, even strokes against the direction of hair growth.
3. For detailing, use the bare blade carefully to define lines and edges.

6.4 Using the Nose and Ear Trimmer Head

1. Attach the nose and ear trimmer head.
2. Gently insert the trimmer tip into your nostril or ear canal.
3. Move the device in a circular motion to trim unwanted hair. Do not insert too deeply.

6.5 Using the Body Groomer Head

1. Attach the body groomer head. You may use a guide comb for sensitive areas or for a desired length.
2. Stretch the skin taut and move the device slowly and evenly over the area to be trimmed.

6.6 Corded and Cordless Operation

The Multi-Styler can be used cordlessly for up to 45 minutes on a full charge. If the battery runs low during use, you can plug the device directly into the power adapter and continue using it while it charges.

7. Maintenance

7.1 Cleaning the Trimmer Heads

1. Ensure the device is turned off and unplugged.
2. Remove the trimmer head from the main unit.
3. Use the provided cleaning brush to remove any trapped hair from the blades and inside the head.
4. The trimmer heads can be rinsed under running water. Ensure they are completely dry before reattaching or storing. Do not rinse the main unit.

7.2 Lubricating the Blades

After every few uses, or if the blades feel sluggish, apply a drop or two of the provided lubricating oil to the blades. Turn the device on for a few seconds to distribute the oil evenly. This helps maintain blade sharpness and smooth operation.

7.3 Storage

Store the Multi-Styler and its accessories in the charging and organizing base in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Ensure the device is fully charged before long-term storage to preserve battery health.

8. Troubleshooting

• Device does not turn on:
  Ensure the device is charged. Plug it into the power adapter and try operating it corded. If it still doesn't turn on, the battery or unit may require service.
• Poor cutting performance:
  Check if the blades are clean and free of hair. Lubricate the blades as described in the maintenance section. Ensure the correct trimmer head and guide comb are properly attached. The blades may also be dull and require replacement if the issue persists.
• Battery not holding charge:
  Ensure the device is properly seated in the charging base and the power adapter is securely plugged in. Allow for the recommended initial charging time. If battery life significantly decreases over time, it may be due to normal battery degradation.
