1. Important Safety Instructions
Read all instructions carefully before using the appliance. Keep this manual for future reference.
- Do not attempt to operate this oven with the door open as this can result in harmful exposure to microwave energy.
- Do not place any object between the oven front face and the door or allow soil or cleaner residue to accumulate on sealing surfaces.
- Do not operate the oven if it is damaged. It is particularly important that the oven door closes properly and that there is no damage to the door (bent), hinges and latches (broken or loosened), or door seals and sealing surfaces.
- Only qualified service personnel should adjust or repair this oven.
- Ensure the appliance is properly grounded.
- Do not use corrosive chemicals or vapors in this appliance.
- Always use oven mitts when handling hot items from the oven.

2. Product Overview

Components:
- Control Panel: Features two rotary knobs for power/function selection and timer/defrost settings.
- Door: Equipped with a safety system for opening.
- Glass Turntable: Rotates to ensure even cooking. Diameter: 24.5 cm.
- Roller Ring: Supports the glass turntable.
- Grill Rack: Metal rack for use during grill functions.

3. Setup
- Unpacking: Remove all packaging materials and accessories. Inspect the oven for any damage such as dents or a misaligned door. Do not operate the oven if it is damaged.
- Placement: Place the microwave oven on a stable, level surface that is strong enough to hold the oven and the food you place in it. Ensure there is adequate ventilation space: at least 20 cm of space above the oven, 10 cm at the rear, and 5 cm on each side. Do not block any ventilation openings.
- Turntable Assembly:
- Place the roller ring in the depression on the oven floor.
- Place the glass turntable on top of the roller ring, ensuring it sits securely.
- Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a standard 220-240V, 50-60Hz grounded electrical outlet. Ensure the outlet is easily accessible.
4. Operating Instructions
Your ARIELLI MG720C4E microwave oven features mechanical controls for easy operation.
4.1 Power Level Selection
Use the upper rotary knob (labeled 'POWER') to select the desired power level or function:
- Low: For softening ice cream, melting butter.
- Med. Low (Defrost): For defrosting.
- Med.: For stewing, soup, fish.
- Med. High: For rice, fish, chicken, ground meat.
- High: For quick cooking, boiling water, reheating. (700W)
- Grill: For grilling food.
- Combi 1: Combination cooking (Microwave + Grill).
- Combi 2: Combination cooking (Microwave + Grill).
- Combi 3: Combination cooking (Microwave + Grill).
4.2 Timer and Defrost Setting
Use the lower rotary knob (labeled 'TIMER / DEFROST(kg)') to set the cooking time or defrost weight.
- Timer: Set the desired cooking time up to 35 minutes.
- Defrost: Select the weight of the food to be defrosted (e.g., 0.2 kg, 0.4 kg, 0.6 kg, 0.8 kg, 1.0 kg). The oven will automatically set the appropriate defrost time.
4.3 General Operation Steps
- Place the food in a microwave-safe container on the glass turntable.
- Close the oven door securely. The door has a safety system.
- Turn the 'POWER' knob to select the desired cooking power level or function (e.g., High, Grill, Combi).
- Turn the 'TIMER / DEFROST(kg)' knob to set the desired cooking time or defrost weight.
- The oven will start cooking automatically. The internal light will illuminate.
- When the set time expires, the oven will emit a bell signal and stop cooking.
4.4 Child Safety Lock
The oven features a child safety system integrated with the door opening button. This prevents accidental opening during operation. To open the door, press the opening button firmly.
5. Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning helps maintain the performance and longevity of your microwave oven.
- Before Cleaning: Always unplug the oven from the power outlet before cleaning.
- Oven Interior: Wipe the inside of the oven with a damp cloth after each use. For stubborn stains, use a mild detergent. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
- Oven Door: Clean the door seals and sealing surfaces with a damp cloth to remove any spills or splatters.
- Glass Turntable and Roller Ring: These can be washed in warm soapy water or in a dishwasher. Ensure they are completely dry before placing them back in the oven.
- Exterior: Wipe the exterior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid getting water into the ventilation openings.
- Grill Rack: Wash the metal grill rack with warm soapy water and dry thoroughly.
6. Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues with your microwave oven, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
