1. Introduction

This Tekswamp remote control is designed as a replacement for the Yamaha RX-V640RDS audio/video receiver. It provides most of the original commands necessary for operating your device without requiring additional programming. The remote is ready for use once batteries are installed.

2. Setup

Battery Installation

1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the remote control.

3. Slide the battery compartment cover downwards or outwards to open it.

4. Insert two (2) AAA batteries (not included) into the compartment, ensuring the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals align correctly with the markings inside the compartment.

5. Replace the battery compartment cover and slide it back into place until it clicks or is securely closed.
6. If applicable, tighten the security screw to secure the cover.

Note: Always use fresh batteries and replace both batteries at the same time. Do not mix old and new batteries or different types of batteries.

This remote control is designed to function with your Yamaha RX-V640RDS receiver without any programming. Point the remote directly at the infrared sensor on your receiver when operating.
