3. Setup

3.1 Lanyard Attachment

The stopwatch comes with a 46-inch lanyard. Attach the lanyard to the designated loop on the top of the stopwatch. The lanyard features an adjustable cord to customize its length for comfortable wear around the neck or wrist.

3.2 Initial Time and Date Setting

4. Operating Instructions

The Adanac 3000 offers multiple timing and display modes. Use the 'MODE' button to cycle through the available functions.

4.1 Basic Stopwatch Function

1. Press the MODE button until the stopwatch display (0:00:00) appears.
2. Press the START/STOP button to begin timing.
3. Press the START/STOP button again to pause the timer.
4. To resume timing, press START/STOP.
5. To reset the stopwatch to zero, ensure it is stopped, then press the SPLIT/RESET button.

4.2 Split Mode

Split Mode allows you to record intermediate times while the main timer continues to run in the background.

1. Start the stopwatch as described in Section 4.1.
2. To record a split time, press the SPLIT/RESET button. The display will momentarily show the split time while the main timer continues.
3. Press SPLIT/RESET again to return to the running total time display.
4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 for additional split times.
5. To stop the main timer, press START/STOP.
6. To reset, press SPLIT/RESET.

4.3 Time/Calendar Mode

This mode displays the current hour, minute, seconds, date, day of the week, and alarm status.

1. Press the MODE button until the time and calendar display appears.
2. To set the time/date/alarm, press and hold the MODE button until the display flashes.
3. Use the SPLIT/RESET button to select the item to adjust (e.g., hour, minute, date).
4. Use the START/STOP button to change the value of the selected item.
5. Once all settings are adjusted, press the MODE button to exit the setting mode.
