Setup

Operating Instructions
Creating a Design:
- Place Beads: Carefully place the Hama Maxi Beads onto the pegs of the chosen pegboard, following a desired pattern or creating a freeform design. The larger size of Maxi Beads makes them easier for small hands to manipulate.
- Complete Design: Continue placing beads until your design is complete. Ensure all beads are firmly seated on the pegs.
Ironing the Design (Adult Supervision Required):
- Prepare Iron: Set a household iron to a medium heat setting (cotton/linen, no steam).
- Cover Design: Place the provided ironing paper over the bead design on the pegboard. Ensure the paper completely covers all beads.
- Iron Beads: Gently move the warm iron over the ironing paper in a circular motion for approximately 10-20 seconds. The beads will begin to melt and fuse together. Avoid pressing too hard or holding the iron in one spot for too long, as this can over-melt the beads or damage the pegboard.
- Check Fusion: Carefully lift a corner of the ironing paper to check if the beads have fused sufficiently. If not, replace the paper and iron for a few more seconds.
- Remove Design: Once fused, allow the design to cool for a moment. Then, carefully peel off the ironing paper and remove the fused bead design from the pegboard.
- Cool Completely: Place the finished design on a flat surface to cool completely and harden. For best results, place a heavy book on top of the design while it cools to prevent warping.
