Setup and Installation

1. Battery Installation:
   • Pinch the release latches on both sides of the battery compartment.
   • Pull out the battery compartment.
   • Insert 3 AA alkaline batteries, following the + and - marks.
   • Push the battery compartment back into the unit.
   • Ensure it is locked into place.

   Note: Batteries are not included in the package.
2. Placement:

   For under-hood use, place the repellent in an area where the speaker is not obstructed and there is a minimum distance of 8-10 inches between the repellent speaker and the bonnet or any metallic part of the engine. Use the included reusable zip ties to secure the device.

Operating Instructions

Once batteries are installed, switch the red ON/OFF switch to turn on the device.

• Mode Selection: Use the MODE switch (TEST/ULTRA) to select the desired operating mode.
  • TEST Mode: Emits audible sonic sounds for testing purposes. This mode is useful for confirming the device is functioning.
  • ULTRA Mode: Emits inaudible ultrasonic sounds for continuous rodent deterrence. This is the primary operating mode for long-term protection.
• Smart Energy-Saving Design: The device is equipped with an intelligent auto standby mode. It detects engine vibrations and automatically powers down while the vehicle is in motion. This conserves battery life and ensures the device is active only when the vehicle is parked and vulnerable to rodents.

• Environmental Factors: Extreme temperatures can affect battery life and device performance. The device is constructed with high-temperature-resistant materials for engine compartments, but prolonged exposure to excessive heat may still impact longevity.
