1. Introduction and Overview

The FOCUHUNTER 1.5-6X24mm Rifle Scope is designed for precision aiming in various outdoor activities. It features a robust aluminum alloy construction, ensuring durability and resistance to shock, water (IP67), and fog. The advanced optical system provides clear, bright images with 1.5-6x magnification and a 24mm objective lens. The illuminated red/green reticle offers versatility in different lighting conditions, and precise adjustments for windage, elevation, and parallax allow for accurate targeting.

4. Setup and Installation

4.1. Battery Installation

1. Locate the battery compartment, typically on the reticle illumination knob.
2. Unscrew the battery cap.
3. Insert one CR2032 3V lithium battery with the positive (+) side facing outwards.
4. Screw the battery cap back on securely.

4.2. Mounting the Scope

The scope comes with mounting rings compatible with Weaver/Picatinny rails.

1. Ensure your firearm is unloaded and safe.
2. Attach the mounting rings to your Weaver or Picatinny rail, ensuring they are spaced appropriately for the scope's length. Tighten the base screws of the rings.
3. Place the scope into the lower halves of the rings.
4. Position the scope for proper eye relief. This is the distance between your eye and the eyepiece when you have a full field of view.
5. Attach the upper halves of the rings and lightly tighten the screws.
6. Ensure the reticle is level. Use a leveling tool if available.
7. Once the reticle is level and eye relief is set, tighten the ring screws evenly and securely using the provided Allen key. Do not overtighten.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Adjusting Magnification

Rotate the magnification adjustment ring (labeled 1.5-6x) located near the eyepiece to change the magnification level. Turn clockwise for higher magnification and counter-clockwise for lower magnification.

5.2. Reticle Illumination

The scope features a red/green illuminated reticle with 5 brightness levels for each color.

1. Locate the reticle color adjustment knob on the left side of the scope.
2. Rotate the knob to select either red or green illumination.
3. Continue rotating the knob to adjust the brightness level from 1 (lowest) to 5 (highest).
4. Turn the knob to the "OFF" position to conserve battery when illumination is not needed.

5.3. Windage and Elevation Adjustments

The scope is equipped with external windage (horizontal) and elevation (vertical) adjustment turrets. Each click adjusts the point of impact by 1/2 inch at 100 yards.

1. Unlock Turrets: Rotate the locking ring at the base of the turret counter-clockwise to unlock it.
2. Adjust Elevation: The top turret adjusts elevation. Turn clockwise to move the point of impact down, and counter-clockwise to move it up.
3. Adjust Windage: The right-side turret adjusts windage. Turn clockwise to move the point of impact right, and counter-clockwise to move it left.
4. Lock Turrets: After making adjustments, rotate the locking ring clockwise to secure the turret and prevent accidental changes.

5.4. Parallax Adjustment

The scope features a side parallax adjustment to eliminate parallax error at different distances.

1. While looking through the scope, rotate the side parallax knob until the target appears sharp and the reticle does not shift relative to the target when you move your head slightly.

5.5. Fast Focus Eyepiece

The fast focus eyepiece allows for quick and precise reticle focus.

1. Look through the scope at a plain, bright background (like the sky).
2. Rotate the eyepiece until the reticle appears sharp and clear.
3. Avoid over-tightening or forcing the eyepiece.

6. Maintenance and Care

• Cleaning Lenses: Use the provided lens cloth or a soft, lint-free cloth specifically designed for optical lenses. Breathe lightly on the lens to create moisture, then gently wipe in a circular motion. For stubborn dirt, use a small amount of optical lens cleaning fluid.
• Cleaning Body: Wipe the scope body with a soft, clean cloth. For heavy dirt, a damp cloth can be used, followed by drying.
• Storage: Store the scope in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Use the flip-up lens caps to protect the lenses when not in use.
• Waterproof/Fog-proof: While the scope is waterproof and fog-proof, avoid unnecessary exposure to harsh conditions. If it gets wet, wipe it dry as soon as possible.
• Battery: Remove the battery if the scope will not be used for an extended period to prevent leakage.
