- Always unplug the fireplace when not in use or before cleaning.

- Do not run cord under carpeting. Do not cover cord with throw rugs, runners, or similar coverings. Arrange cord away from traffic area and where it will not be tripped over.
- Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause an electric shock or fire, or damage the fireplace.
- To prevent a possible fire, do not block air intakes or exhaust in any manner. Do not use on soft surfaces, like a bed, where openings may become blocked.
- This fireplace is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces. Keep combustible materials, such as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes, and curtains at least 3 feet (0.9 m) from the front of the fireplace and keep them away from the sides and rear.
- Extreme caution is necessary when any heater is used by or near children or invalids and whenever the fireplace is left operating and unattended.
- Connect to properly grounded outlets only.

Setup & Assembly
Assembly of the media console is required before installing the electric fireplace insert. It is recommended that two adults assemble this unit. A Phillips head screwdriver is required.
- Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging and lay them out on a soft, clean surface to prevent scratching. Verify all parts are present against the package contents list.
- Assemble Cabinet Base: Follow the diagrams provided in the separate assembly guide (not included in this manual) to connect the side panels to the base and top panels using the provided hardware. Ensure all connections are secure.
- Install Shelving: Insert the adjustable shelves into the desired positions within the media compartments.
- Attach Doors: Secure the barn-door-style panels to the cabinet using the provided hinges and hardware. Adjust as necessary for proper alignment.
- Insert Fireplace: Carefully slide the electric fireplace insert into the designated opening in the assembled media console. Ensure it is seated firmly and flush with the front of the cabinet.
- Cable Management: Route power cords and media cables through the designated openings in the back panel of the console.

Operating Instructions
The Muskoka 370-05-200 Electric Fireplace can be operated using the control panel on the unit or the included remote control.
Control Panel & Remote Control Functions

- Power Button (⏻): Press to turn the fireplace ON or OFF. When turned on, the unit will display the last used flame and heat settings.
- Flame Button (🔥): Press to cycle through 3 flame brightness levels (low, medium, high) or turn the flame effect off. The flame effect can be used independently of the heater.
- Heat Button (🌡): Press to activate the 4600 BTU fan-forced air heater. Press again to cycle through temperature settings or turn the heater off. The heater features thermostatic temperature control.
- Timer Button (⏱): Press to activate the auto shut-off timer. Each press will cycle through preset time intervals (e.g., 30 minutes, 1 hour, 2 hours, etc.) up to a maximum of 9 hours. The timer indicator will illuminate.
Initial Operation
- Ensure the fireplace is properly assembled and plugged into a grounded 120V AC outlet.
- Press the Power button on the control panel or remote control to turn on the unit.
- Adjust the flame brightness using the Flame button.
- If heat is desired, press the Heat button to activate the heater and select your preferred temperature setting.
- To set a timer for automatic shut-off, press the Timer button.

Maintenance
