2. Operating Instructions

Once the filter is installed, restore power to your spa. The filter will begin to operate automatically, continuously filtering your spa water. Monitor water clarity and flow rate regularly to ensure proper function.

3. Maintenance

Regular cleaning and timely replacement of your filter cartridge are crucial for maintaining clean and healthy spa water.

Filter Cleaning

To prolong the service life of the filter, we recommend cleaning it once a month. Follow these steps:

  1. Use a garden hose with a straight flow nozzle to wash the filter element.
  2. Work from the top to the bottom, holding the nozzle at a 45-degree angle.
  3. Wash all the pleats as well as between the pleats.
  4. Rinse until all dirt and debris is gone.

Filter Replacement

The filter should be replaced depending on usage. A good indicator for replacement is when cleaning no longer restores adequate water flow or clarity.

4. Troubleshooting

  • Reduced Water Flow: Check if the filter is clogged. Clean the filter thoroughly. If flow does not improve, consider replacing the filter.
  • Cloudy Water: Ensure the filter is correctly installed and seated. Clean the filter. If the problem persists, check spa chemical balance or replace the filter.
  • Filter Damage: Inspect the filter for tears, cracks, or excessive wear. Replace damaged filters immediately to prevent debris from entering the spa system.
