6. Troubleshooting

  • Remote not connecting or pairing:
    - Ensure the remote's ON/OFF switch is in the "ON" position and the blue LED is blinking.
    - Verify that Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone.
    - Check if "AB Shutter3" appears in your phone's Bluetooth device list. If not, try turning the remote off and on again.
    - If the remote was previously paired with another device, ensure it is disconnected from that device.
  • Remote not taking photos/videos:
    - Confirm that the remote is successfully paired with your phone (solid blue LED).
    - Make sure your phone's camera app is open and set to the desired mode (photo or video).
    - For some older Android devices, you might need to use a third-party camera app like "Camera 360" for full functionality.
    - Compatibility Note: Some users have reported that on certain devices, such as the Samsung S21 5G, the remote buttons may control zoom instead of the shutter. Ensure your device's operating system meets the minimum requirements (Android 4.2.2+ / Apple iOS 6.0+).
  • Short operating range:
    - Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and your smartphone.
    - Check for potential interference from other wireless devices.
