3. Setup and Assembly

4. Operating Instructions

Your HOMCOM Relax Chair offers several features for enhanced comfort:

4.1. Recline Function

The backrest can be adjusted up to 145 degrees. To recline, lean back gently. The chair uses your body weight to adjust the recline angle. To return to an upright position, lean forward.

A side knob is provided to adjust the resistance of the reclining mechanism. Turn the knob clockwise to increase resistance (making it harder to recline) and counter-clockwise to decrease resistance (making it easier to recline).

4.2. Footrest Adjustment

The integrated footrest can be manually adjusted. To extend the footrest, locate the side knob or lever (depending on model variation) and operate it to release and extend the footrest. To retract, push the footrest back into its stored position while operating the knob/lever.

4.3. 360° Swivel Function

The chair is equipped with a 360° swivel base, allowing for full rotation without moving the entire chair. Simply rotate the chair in the desired direction.

5. Maintenance and Care

6. Troubleshooting

• Chair is unstable/wobbly:
  • Ensure all assembly screws and bolts are securely tightened.
  • Verify the chair is placed on a flat, even surface.
• Recline mechanism is stiff or too loose:
  • Adjust the resistance knob located on the side of the chair (refer to Section 4.1).
  • Check for any obstructions in the reclining mechanism.
• Footrest does not extend/retract smoothly:
  • Ensure the adjustment knob/lever is fully engaged.
  • Check for any obstructions preventing smooth movement.
• Squeaking noises:
  • Apply a small amount of silicone-based lubricant to moving metal parts, avoiding contact with upholstery.
