Setup

Battery Installation

1. Locate the battery compartment on the back or bottom of the Smooth Moves Sloth.
2. Using a Phillips head screwdriver, loosen the screw on the battery compartment cover.
3. Remove the cover.
4. Insert 4 AA (LR6) alkaline batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment. The toy comes with demonstration batteries pre-installed.
5. Replace the battery compartment cover and tighten the screw securely.

Important: Always use fresh alkaline batteries for optimal performance. Do not mix old and new batteries, or different types of batteries.

Operating Instructions

Power On/Off and Volume Control

• Locate the power/volume switch on the toy.
• Slide the switch to the 'On' position for normal play.
• Select between two volume levels: low or high.
• To turn off the toy, slide the switch to the 'Off' position.

Interacting with the Sloth

• Press the music note button on the sloth's left foot to hear songs and musical phrases.
• Press the ABC/123 button on the sloth's right foot to hear phrases about the alphabet, numbers, opposites, and colors.
• The sloth will clap its hands and bob its head along with the sounds and lights.

Linkimals Interaction

• Place other Linkimals toys (sold separately) near the Smooth Moves Sloth.
• Ensure all Linkimals toys are turned on.
• When one Linkimals toy is activated, the others will respond by lighting up, talking, singing, and playing together.
• Linkimals toys are designed to interact only with other Fisher-Price Linkimals toys of the same language.
