1. Important Safety Instructions

Please read these instructions carefully before using the appliance and keep them for future reference. Incorrect use may lead to electric shock, fire, or serious injury.

3. Setup

4. Operating Instructions

Follow these guidelines for effective ironing:

• Fabric Preparation: Sort clothes according to fabric type and recommended ironing temperature. Always check the garment's care label.
• Temperature Setting: Turn the temperature control dial to the desired setting. The indicator light will illuminate, showing the iron is heating. It will turn off when the set temperature is reached.
• Dry Ironing: For dry ironing, ensure the steam function is off and the water tank is empty or the steam selector is set to '0'. Set the temperature according to the fabric.
• Steam Ironing: Fill the water tank. Set the temperature to the steam zone (usually indicated by three dots or 'MAX' on the dial). Once the indicator light goes out, steam is ready. Press the steam button or adjust the steam selector for continuous steam.
• Steam Shot: For stubborn creases, press the steam shot button. Wait a few seconds between shots to allow the steam to regenerate.
• Vertical Steam: The steam shot can also be used for vertical steaming of hanging garments or curtains. Hold the iron vertically a few centimeters away from the fabric and press the steam shot button.
• Spray Function: Press the spray button to emit a fine mist of water, useful for dampening stubborn creases.

5. Maintenance and Cleaning

Proper care ensures the longevity of your iron:

• After Each Use: Unplug the iron and allow it to cool completely. Empty any remaining water from the tank.
• Cleaning the Soleplate: If the soleplate becomes stained, clean it with a damp cloth and a non-abrasive cleaner designed for irons. Do not use abrasive scouring pads or metal objects.
• External Cleaning: Wipe the exterior of the iron with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh detergents or solvents.
• Descaling (Self-Clean Function): Your iron may feature a self-clean function to remove mineral deposits. Refer to the specific instructions for activating this function, typically involving filling the tank, heating the iron, and then activating the self-clean button over a sink. Perform this regularly, especially in hard water areas.
• Storage: Once cool and empty, store the iron upright on its heel rest in a dry, safe place. Do not wrap the cord tightly around the iron.
