5. Setup Instructions

Follow these steps to set up your SkycropHD HDMI Switch:

1. Power Off Devices: Ensure all HDMI source devices and your display are powered off before making connections.
2. Connect HDMI Sources: Connect your HDMI source devices (e.g., PS4 Pro, Xbox One S/X, Blu-ray player, Roku Ultra) to the HDMI IN 1-5 ports on the switch using high-quality HDMI 2.0 cables. For optimal 4K@60Hz performance, ensure your HDMI cables are rated for 18Gbps.

6. Operation

The SkycropHD HDMI Switch offers three methods for switching between connected devices:

6.1. Automatic Switching

By default, the switch will automatically detect and switch to the last powered-on or active HDMI source. If multiple sources are active, it may switch to the one that was most recently activated.

To disable/enable Auto Switch function:

• Long-press the "Switch" button on the front panel of the device for approximately 5 seconds. The input indicator lights will blink four times to confirm the change. Repeat the process to toggle the function.

6.2. Manual Switching (Device Button)

Press the "Switch" button on the front panel of the HDMI switch to cycle through the connected HDMI inputs (HDMI 1, HDMI 2, HDMI 3, HDMI 4, HDMI 5). The corresponding input indicator LED will light up to show the active input.

6.3. IR Remote Control Switching

Use the included IR remote control to select your desired HDMI input directly:

• Point the remote control towards the IR port on the front of the HDMI switch.
• Press the corresponding number button (1-5) to select the desired HDMI input.
