Cold Frothing for Iced Beverages
The K-Café frother also supports cold frothing for iced lattes and cappuccinos. Note: When making iced beverages, always use a plastic cup. Do not use glass, as rapid temperature changes can cause it to break.
- Prepare the frother cup with milk as described in the Setup section.
- On the K-Café brewer, press the COLD button. The frother will begin frothing the milk without heating.
- Once frothing is complete, the frother will stop. Carefully remove the frother cup from the base.

- Hand Washing: For hand washing, use warm, soapy water and a non-abrasive sponge or cloth. Rinse thoroughly.
- Whisk Care: Ensure the magnetic whisk is clean and free of milk residue after each use to maintain proper frothing performance.
- Do not immerse the frother base (part of the K-Café brewer) in water. Wipe it clean with a damp cloth.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your Keurig K-Café Milk Frother Cup, consider the following common solutions:
- No Froth or Insufficient Froth:
- Ensure the whisk is properly seated at the bottom of the frother cup.
- Check that the milk level is between the MIN and MAX fill lines.
- Verify that the frother cup is correctly placed in the K-Café brewer's frother base.
- Use fresh, cold milk. Different types of milk (e.g., skim vs. whole, dairy vs. non-dairy) may produce varying froth consistency.
- Frother Not Activating:
- Ensure the K-Café brewer is powered on and ready.
- Confirm the frother cup is correctly seated in its base.
- Check if the appropriate frothing button (LATTE, CAPPUCCINO, or COLD) has been pressed.
- Milk Overflow:
- Ensure you have not filled the frother cup above the MAX fill line.
