Maintenance

Emptying the Dirt Cup

The bagless design allows for convenient and hygienic dirt disposal. To empty the dirt cup:

  1. Press the dirt cup release button located on the handle.
  2. Lift the dirt cup away from the vacuum.
  3. Hold the dirt cup over a trash bin and press the bottom release latch to open the bottom flap and empty contents.
  4. Close the bottom flap securely and reattach the dirt cup to the vacuum until it clicks into place.

Note: It is recommended to empty the dirt cup after each use or when debris reaches the MAX fill line to maintain optimal suction performance.

Filter Maintenance

The vacuum is equipped with a HEPA Media Filter with Activated Carbon, designed to trap dirt, dust, pollen, and odors. Regular cleaning of the filter is crucial for maintaining performance.

  1. Pre-Motor Filter: This filter is located inside the dirt cup. Remove it and tap off loose dirt over a trash bin. Rinse under running water if necessary, and allow to air dry completely for 24 hours before reinserting.
  2. HEPA Media Filter: This filter is located below the dirt cup. Remove it and tap off loose dirt. This filter is not washable and should be replaced periodically (every 6-12 months, depending on usage).

Warning: Do not operate the vacuum without all filters properly installed.

Brushroll Cleaning

Periodically check the brushroll for tangled hair or debris. To clean:

  1. Unplug the vacuum cleaner.
  2. Turn the vacuum over to access the brushroll.
  3. Use scissors to carefully cut away any tangled hair or threads.
  4. Ensure the brushroll spins freely before resuming use.
