Setup and Installation

1. Unpacking

• Carefully remove the ice maker from its packaging.
• Inspect the unit for any shipping damage. If damage is found, do not operate and contact customer support.
• Remove all packing materials, tapes, and protective films.
• Allow the unit to stand upright for a minimum of 24 hours before plugging it in. This allows the refrigerant to settle.

2. Placement

• Place the ice maker on a flat, stable surface capable of supporting its weight when full of ice and water.
• Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the unit. Do not block the air vents.
• Locate the unit near a water outlet and a drain for proper connection.
• Avoid direct sunlight or heat sources.

3. Water Connection

• Connect the provided water supply hose to a potable water source. The unit requires a continuous water supply.
• Use the water supply connector to secure the hose to the ice maker's inlet.
• Connect the water draining hose to the unit's drain outlet and route it to a suitable drain. Ensure the drain hose has a continuous downward slope for proper drainage.
• Check all connections for leaks before proceeding.

4. Power Connection

• Plug the power cord into a grounded 115 Volt electrical outlet.
• Ensure the electrical supply matches the requirements listed on the appliance's rating label.

Operating Instructions

1. Control Panel Overview

The intuitive control panel features an LCD display and several buttons for easy operation:

• ON/OFF Button: Powers the unit on or off.
• TIMER Button: Sets a timer for automatic operation.
• CLEAN Button: Initiates the automatic cleaning cycle.
• (+) and (-) Buttons: Adjust ice making time and ice cube thickness.
• LCD Display: Shows current status, temperature, ice making time, and error codes.

2. Initial Operation

• After connecting water and power, press the ON/OFF button to start the unit.
• It is recommended to run an initial cleaning cycle before making ice for consumption. Press the CLEAN button to activate.
• The unit will begin the ice making process automatically once powered on and water supply is detected.

3. Ice Making Process

• The machine will draw water into the reservoir and begin the freezing cycle.
• Ice will be produced in cycles, typically yielding 45 pieces of clear ice within 11-20 minutes per cycle.
• The unit will automatically stop making ice when the storage bin is full.

4. Adjusting Ice Thickness

• The thickness of the ice cubes can be adjusted using the (+) and (-) buttons on the control panel.
• Increasing the ice making time (using +) will result in thicker ice cubes.
• Decreasing the ice making time (using -) will result in thinner ice cubes.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your ice maker.

1. Regular Cleaning

• Automatic Cleaning: The unit is equipped with an automatic cleaning function. Press the CLEAN button to initiate this cycle periodically.
• Exterior Cleaning: Wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. For stainless steel surfaces, use a stainless steel cleaner.
• Ice Bin Cleaning: Regularly empty and clean the ice storage bin with a mild detergent and warm water. Rinse thoroughly.

2. Descaling

• Over time, mineral deposits from water can build up. It is recommended to descale the unit regularly, especially in hard water areas.
• Use a commercial ice maker cleaner or a solution of vinegar and water. Follow the cleaner's instructions or run the cleaning cycle with the descaling solution.
• Always rinse the unit thoroughly with clean water after descaling to remove any residue.

3. Storage

• If storing the ice maker for an extended period, drain all water from the unit.
• Clean the interior and exterior thoroughly.
• Store in a dry, well-ventilated area.
