1. Introduction

It features a dual-lid hinged top that opens to reveal a spacious storage compartment, ideal for stashing blankets, books, or board games. Crafted from pine veneers, solid pine wood, and engineered wood, it boasts a weathered gray finish, metal bracket accents, and crossbuck details for a durable and timeless design.

2. Safety Information

• Always follow assembly instructions carefully.
• Ensure all screws and fasteners are securely tightened before use. Periodically check and re-tighten as needed.
• Do not exceed the maximum weight recommendation of 60 pounds on the tabletop.
• Keep fingers clear of hinged areas when opening or closing the lift-top to prevent pinching.
• Do not allow children to climb on or play inside the storage compartment.
• Place the coffee table on a level surface to prevent tipping.

4. Assembly Instructions

Assembly is required for this coffee table. It is recommended that two people assemble this product. A screwdriver (not included) is needed for full assembly.

1. Unpack all components and lay them out on a soft, clean surface to prevent scratches.
2. Attach the four legs to the bottom of the coffee table body using the provided hardware. Ensure they are securely fastened.
3. Carefully place the coffee table upright on its newly attached legs.
4. Confirm that the dual-lid hinged top is properly aligned and functions smoothly. The lift-top mechanism includes stay arms to hold the lids open.
5. Check all connections to ensure they are tight and stable.

5. Operating Instructions

The Aldwin coffee table features a convenient dual-lid hinged top for easy access to its internal storage.

• To Open the Storage Compartment: Gently lift either side of the tabletop. The integrated stay arms will hold the lid securely in the open position, providing full access to the storage space.
• To Close the Storage Compartment: Carefully push the lid down until it rests flush with the table base. Ensure no items are obstructing the closing mechanism.

• Humidity: Maintain consistent humidity levels in your home to prevent wood from expanding or contracting, which can lead to cracks or warping.
• Hardware: Periodically check and tighten all screws and bolts to ensure stability.

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues with your coffee table, refer to the following common solutions:

• Wobbly Table: Check that all leg attachments and frame screws are securely tightened. Ensure the table is on a flat, even surface.
• Stiff Lift-Top: If the lift-top mechanism feels stiff, ensure no debris is caught in the hinges. A small amount of silicone-based lubricant can be applied to the moving parts of the hinges if necessary, but avoid over-lubricating.
• Lid Not Closing Flush: Check for any items inside the storage compartment that might be preventing the lid from closing completely. Inspect hinges for damage or misalignment.
