4. Setup
4.1 Power Supply
The board operates within a power range of 3.7V to 5.5V. You can power the module using:
- Micro USB Port: Connect a 5V power source via the Micro USB port.
- Battery Terminals: Connect a 3.7V-5.5V battery to the BAT+ and BAT- terminals.
Note: When using U disk mode, a 5V power supply is recommended as some U disks may not function correctly with 3.7V.
4.2 Speaker Connection
Connect your speaker to the blue screw terminals labeled SP+ and SP-. Ensure correct polarity. The onboard amplifier is a 2W single-channel output.
4.3 Media Insertion
Insert your TF card into the TF card slot or your USB drive into the U-disk port. Ensure the media contains MP3 audio files.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Power On and Automatic Playback
Once power is supplied, the module will automatically power on and begin playing MP3 files. The red LED indicator will update during playback.
5.2 Playback Modes
The module defaults to TF card playback mode. If no TF card is detected, it will automatically switch to U disk mode. If both are inserted, you can manually switch between modes using the control buttons.
5.3 Key Operations
The board features four control buttons:
- Prev/V-- Key:
- Short press: Switches to the previous song.
- Long press (approx. 2 seconds): Decreases the volume.
- Next/V++ Key:
- Short press: Switches to the next song.
- Long press (approx. 2 seconds): Increases the volume.
- P/P/Mode Key:
- Short press: Toggles play/pause.
- Long press (approx. 2 seconds): Selects between U disk and TF Card playback modes.
- Repeat Key:
- Short press: Toggles between single song repeat and whole song cycle modes. The default power-up setting is whole song cycle.
6. Maintenance

- Avoid exposing the board to extreme temperatures.

7. Troubleshooting
- No Playback:
- Verify that the power supply is connected correctly and within the 3.7V-5.5V range.
- Ensure the TF card or U disk is properly inserted.
- Check that the audio files are in MP3 format.
- U Disk Not Working:
- Some U disks require a 5V power supply. If using 3.7V, try switching to 5V.
- No Sound:
- Confirm that the speaker is correctly connected to the SP+ and SP- terminals.
- Increase the volume using the 'Next/V++' long press function.
- Ensure the module is not paused (short press 'P/P/Mode' key).
