3. Product Overview and Controls

• Power On/Off Button: Press and hold to turn the speaker on or off.

4. Setup

4.1 Charging the Speaker

1. Locate the Micro USB Charging Socket on the side of the speaker.
2. Connect the included Micro USB cable to the speaker's charging socket.
3. Connect the other end of the USB cable to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.
4. The light indicator will illuminate during charging. A full charge typically takes approximately 2 hours.
5. Once fully charged, disconnect the charging cable.

4.2 Mounting the Speaker

• Using Suction Cups: Attach the provided suction cups to the back of the speaker. Press the speaker firmly onto a clean, smooth, non-porous surface (e.g., shower wall, tile, glass) until the suction cups adhere securely.
• Using Carabiner: Clip the metal carabiner through the loop on the speaker. Attach the carabiner to a backpack, bicycle handlebars, or any suitable loop for portable use.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Powering On/Off

• To Power On: Press and hold the Power On/Off button for approximately 3 seconds. The light indicator will flash, indicating it is ready for pairing.
• To Power Off: Press and hold the Power On/Off button for approximately 3 seconds. The light indicator will turn off.

5.2 Bluetooth Pairing

1. Ensure the speaker is powered on and the light indicator is flashing, indicating it is in pairing mode.
2. On your mobile device (smartphone, tablet, laptop), enable Bluetooth.
3. Search for available Bluetooth devices. The speaker will appear as "TOPROAD Speaker" or a similar name.
4. Select the speaker from the list to initiate pairing.
5. Once successfully paired, the light indicator will stop flashing and remain solid, and you may hear a confirmation tone.
6. The speaker will automatically reconnect to the last paired device when powered on, if the device is within range (up to 33 feet) and has Bluetooth enabled.

5.3 Playing Music

• After successful pairing, open your music application on your device and start playback.
• Play/Pause: Press the Play/Pause button on the speaker.
• Volume Control: Press the Volume Up (+) or Volume Down (-) buttons.
• Previous/Next Track: Press and hold the Volume Down (-) button for the previous track; press and hold the Volume Up (+) button for the next track.

5.4 Hands-Free Calling

• When a call comes in, the speaker will ring.
• Answer Call: Press the Answer/Hang Up button once to answer the call.
• End Call: Press the Answer/Hang Up button once during a call to end it.
• Reject Call: Press and hold the Answer/Hang Up button for 2 seconds to reject an incoming call.
• The built-in microphone allows for clear communication.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning

• Wipe the speaker with a soft, damp cloth.
• Do not use abrasive cleaners, alcohol, or chemical solvents, as these may damage the surface or internal components.
• Ensure the charging port cover is securely closed when not charging to maintain water resistance.

6.2 Storage

• Store the speaker in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
• If storing for an extended period, charge the battery periodically (e.g., every 3 months) to prolong its lifespan.

6.3 Water Resistance (IPX7)

• The speaker is IPX7 rated, meaning it can withstand immersion in water up to 1 meter for 30 minutes.

• While it can withstand accidental drops in water, it is not designed for prolonged submersion or use during swimming.

7. Troubleshooting

7.1 Speaker Does Not Turn On

• Ensure the battery is charged. Connect the speaker to a power source using the Micro USB cable and allow it to charge for at least 15 minutes before attempting to power on again.
• Press and hold the Power On/Off button for 3-5 seconds.

7.2 Cannot Pair with Bluetooth Device

• Ensure the speaker is in pairing mode (light indicator flashing). If not, turn it off and then on again.
• Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your device and it is within 33 feet (10 meters) of the speaker.
• Turn off Bluetooth on your device and turn it back on.
• If previously paired, try forgetting or unpairing the speaker from your device's Bluetooth settings and then re-pair.
• Ensure no other Bluetooth devices are actively connected to the speaker.

7.3 No Sound or Low Volume

• Increase the volume on both the speaker and your connected device.
• Ensure the speaker is successfully paired and connected to your device.
• Check if the music is playing on your device.
• Try disconnecting and reconnecting the Bluetooth connection.

7.4 Poor Call Quality

• Ensure you are within close proximity to the speaker and your connected device.
• Avoid placing the speaker in an enclosed space or where the microphone might be obstructed.
• Check for environmental noise that might interfere with the microphone.
